Product DirectorWhat does a successful Director Product Manager do at Fiserv?
You will hold responsibility for driving market requirements for Fiserv’s Gift Solutions team and to be the SME interface to clients, sales, and operational teams to identify business requirements, partnerships, and to consult based on subject matter expertise in the stored value closed loop industry. You will be required to have daily interaction with cross functional internal teams and clients to identify and lead product strategy and development, partnering with technical teams to identify and build features and functionality that stored value market needs and ultimately increase revenue and client satisfaction.
What you will do:
We are looking for a dedicated AI Product Manager to lead the development of our next generation of data and AI products. The successful candidate will be responsible for crafting the product strategy, guiding the product development teams, and ensuring the alignment of product features with strategic business goals This role demands a strong analytical mindset and a deep understanding of AI technologies, coupled with the ability to work effectively across teams to launch products that are innovative, customer and user-centric, and commercially viable.
Responsible for conception through end-of-life ownership for a specific product, product group or product line including product management, product development and business development.
Collaborate with stakeholders across engineering, legal, security, and customer-facing teams to gather and prioritize product requirements, translating them into detailed user stories and specifications.
Develop and maintain a prioritized product roadmap, ensuring alignment with business goals and resource availability, and communicate roadmap updates to stakeholders.
Lead peers and dotted line relationships through the project lifecycle to deliver development efforts.
Maintain awareness and understanding of customer and market needs. Develop business cases to support new product recommendations.
Manage the product development lifecycle from concept, design, testing, and production deployment, and product commercialization.

Reporting & Analytics
Lead the product strategy and roadmap for reporting and analytics experiences across our gift solution verticals
Partner with cross functional product managers to drive best in class reporting both for internal teams and our merchant facing platforms
Lead development of tools that deliver intuitive, digestible insights across device, web, and mobile platforms.
Define and track KPIs such as feature adoption, merchant engagement, and business impact.
Translate user needs and market trends into prioritized product requirements, user stories, and detailed execution plans.
Build business cases, conduct opportunity sizing, and define success metrics to guide investment and prioritization decisions.
Collaborate with go-to-market teams to drive successful launches and product adoption.
Competitive Insights for Merchants
Deliver competitive benchmarks that highlight trends in pricing, product mix, customer behavior, and operational efficiency.
Help merchants answer critical questions like: “How are my sales compared to others nearby?” “Are my top-selling items in line with competitors?” “How are others pricing similar services or products?”
Ensure these insights are delivered in a privacy-compliant, easily consumable, and actionable way, empowering merchants to make smarter decisions without needing deep analytics expertise.
Collaborate closely with Fiserv data science teams and AI Vendors to define data models, signals, and methodologies that power competitive intelligence features.
AI Platform Strategy & Execution
Lead cross platform strategy—enabling seamless integration of AI across the product ecosystem to unlock new customer value.
Develop AI tools and infrastructure that empower internal teams to build smarter, automated, and personalized merchant experiences.
Create governance frameworks to ensure AI adoption is secure, ethical, and compliant with industry standards.
Oversee cross-functional AI initiatives, collaborating with Data Science, Engineering, and Fiserv stakeholders.
What you'll need to have:
10 years of experience in product management, including 2 years of experience developing or launching products or technologies within artificial intelligence or Machine Learning (AI or ML).
Product Management Expertise: Experience defining a product vision, developing roadmaps, managing product lifecycles, implementing monetization frameworks, and determining pricing models for data, AI products and platforms.
Strategic Thinking and Business Acumen: The ability to connect data and AI capabilities with strategic and business needs, to identify high-value customer opportunities is crucial. Candidates should demonstrate a strong understanding of business strategy and operations.
Strong domain expertise in POS, payments, SaaS and software ecosystems.
Demonstrated success building customer-facing data products such as dashboards, reporting tools, and benchmarking insights.
Strong technical fluency and ability to participate in architectural and data discussions.
Experience with Data and AI Product Design Frameworks: Familiarity with design patterns and best practices specific to AI products, including usability, interpretability, reliability, human-machine teaming and collaboration and MLOps and the AI model development lifecycle.
Experience leading large-scale cross-functional product initiatives with measurable business results.
Analytical mindset with the ability to use data for prioritization, performance measurement, and storytelling.
Executive communication and influence skills, with a proven ability to align diverse stakeholders.
What is nice to have:
Experience working in an industry where AI is actively applied, such as retail, finance, payments or tech, is highly desirable.
Technical Background: While not mandatory, a technical background in analytics, data science, data engineering, applied research, or a related field is advantageous
AI Strategy Experience: Candidates with experience introducing, developing, or implementing AI strategies will also be prioritized
Salary Range
$155,300.00 - $261,500.00These pay ranges apply to employees in New Jersey, New York and California. Pay ranges for employees in other states may differ.
