QA Manager, Enterprise Server Firmware and Software

We're seeking a candidate with a solid tech background in server technologies and proven leadership abilities.

What you’ll be doing:

• Lead, mentor, and grow a team of QA engineers specializing in server firmware, driver, and OS/virtualization testing.

• Develop and complete a comprehensive QA strategy with a focus on achieving 100% end-to-end test automation coverage.

• Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of robust automated test frameworks and pipelines.

• Champion the adoption and integration of AI tools, particularly AI coding solutions, to optimize test automation and team productivity.

• Collaborate with development, software project management, and product management to ensure QA objectives align with business goals and project timelines.

• Define, track, and analyze key quality metrics; proactively identify and address quality issues to ensure timely, high-quality releases.

• Encourage a culture of ongoing improvement, innovation, and accountability within the QA team by staying updated on industry trends, tools, and standard methodologies.

• Drive effective planning, prioritization, resource management, and recruitment to build and develop a high-performing QA organization.

What we need to see:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

• 7+ overall years of experience in QA, including at least 3 years in a leadership or management role.

• Strong hands-on experience with server firmware, drivers, operating systems (Linux/Windows), and virtualization technologies such as VMware, KVM, and Hyper-V.

• Proven expertise in designing and implementing automated test frameworks and CI/CD pipelines using tools like Python, Java, Jenkins, and Robot Framework.

• Solid understanding of server hardware, BIOS/UEFI, BMC, and related firmware components.

• Demonstrated experience with AI tools, particularly AI coding tools (e.g., Cursor, GitHub Copilot), and a track record of integrating them into QA workflows.

• Experience with cloud infrastructure, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and related automation tools

• Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and develop high-performing QA teams, including distributed or remote teams.

• Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, planning, and problem-solving skills.

• Passion for quality, automation, innovation, and the ability to excel in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with strong collaborator management and multi-functional partnership skills.
