Job Description
The Supply Chain Data Solutions Analyst is a critical member of the Data Solutions team. This person is responsible for assisting with all supply chain departments, operationalizing a holistic supply chain data strategy, and turning data into insights. To accomplish this, the Analyst works cross functionally with various teams across the organization. The successful candidate will bring a creative and analytical mindset to solve problems, ultimately supporting the Supply Chain team’s goals to increase revenue, drive margin improvements and improve customer experience.
This job is located at our Global Home Office in Columbus, Ohio.
What Will You Be Doing?
- Develop and deploy predictive models, optimization algorithms, and machine learning techniques to address supply chain challenges and improve performance.
- Design and implement automated workflows and tools to streamline supply chain processes, reducing manual interventions and increasing efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify automation opportunities and drive the adoption of ML-driven solutions in supply chain operations.
- Continuously monitor model performance and supply chain metrics to ensure the accuracy and effectiveness of implemented solutions, while maintaining analytics budget.
- Proactively identify areas for improvement and recommend adjustments to enhance overall supply chain performance.
- Build and maintain data pipelines for efficient data flow and integration between various supply chain systems and data sources.
- Work closely with data engineers to optimize data infrastructure and ensure seamless data access and reliability.
- Collaborate with supply chain analysts, data engineers, business peers, and senior leadership to understand their requirements and translate them into actionable insights and solutions.
- Effectively communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences, promoting data-driven decision-making across the organization.
- Become a subject matter expert for all data engineered through Databricks.
- Stay up to date on industry trends, data trends, and emerging technology.
What Do You Need To Bring?
- Bachelor's Degree or related experience
- 2+ years of supply chain analytics, data engineering, eCommerce management, and/or fulfillment experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy
- Strong SQL knowledge or equivalent programming languages
- Python, R, Java or equivalent knowledge required
- Ability to accomplish specific tasks within a reasonable time frame
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to change
- Ability to communicate results and challenges clearly across teams
- Highly motivated/self-starter with a sense of ownership, a willingness to learn, and a strong desire to succeed
