In 2019, Amazon co-founded The Climate Pledge and made a commitment to achieve net-zero carbon by 2040 —10 years ahead of the Paris Agreement. Key job responsibilities
Our Business Intelligence team develops large scale reporting tools, analytics, and supporting analytic/reporting data infrastructure for clients in energy, renewable resources, sustainability, and water sectors. They build high visibility tools used by project managers, data/sustainability scientists, analysts, and the AWS leadership team to make data-driven business decisions that directly impact AWS’s net-zero carbon and 100% renewable goals.

Basic Qualifications

- 4+ years of analyzing and interpreting data with Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL etc. experience
- Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools
- Experience with data modeling, warehousing and building ETL pipelines
- Experience using SQL to pull data from a database or data warehouse and scripting experience (Python) to process data for modeling

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with AWS solutions such as EC2, DynamoDB, S3, and Redshift
- Experience in data mining, ETL, etc. and using databases in a business environment with large-scale, complex datasets
- 4 + years experience with data visualization using Tableau or Quicksight

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $89,600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
