What Will Be Your Environment:
The Midland, Michigan facility is just 30 minutes from Saginaw and located closely to Lake Huron. We produce specialty gas compression lubricants, vacuum pump lubricants, industrial functional fluids including hydraulic oil, gear oil, and chain oil with a team of 200 employees.
What You'll Do:
As a Material Master Data Analyst, you'll be responsible for managing the entry, maintenance, adherence to standard design, and accuracy of Material, Production and Planning Master Data elements. Working closely with business users and cross functional teams, the analyst will maintain the data integrity of Material Masters, BOMs, Recipes, Resources, and Production Versions in SAP S4. Key responsibilities also include providing project management and reporting support for a wide range of private label commercialization initiatives.
What We're Looking For:
- Coordinate material master data requests with regional partners
- Entry and maintenance of plant level recipe, BOM, and process instructions
- Provide process and systems guidance to end users
- Support material master data governance and product life cycle initiatives
- Test SAP functionality upgrades and support ERP releases
- Maintain technical support documentation and reference lists such as product naming conventions, plant hierarchies, and standard packaging times
- Investigate and resolve plant cost exceptions
- Coordinate raw material replacements at plant level
- Coordinate plant-level formulation changes with corporate partners
- Manage functional share-point site and request forms
- Facilitate private label commercialization and packaging projects, ensuring on time product number request and project completion
- Develop reporting on project portfolio and provide stakeholder communications at multiple levels
Skills That Make a Difference:
- High School Diploma is required.
- Experience with ERP/MRP systems, preferably SAP S4.
- Project Management experience.
- Advanced excel, business objects, SAP table extraction.
- Advanced communication and presentation skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and multitasking abilities.
- Methodical problem solver and highly analytical.
Considered a Plus:
- Associates or bachelors degree.
