Job Overview

In this role you will be part of Global Controlling organization and reporting to Senior Manager, Controller - ESG. We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) Information Systems and Data Analyst to support our ESG initiatives through ESG System Implementation, Optimization & Maintenance, Data Management & Reporting, and Compliance & Risk Management. The ideal candidate will possess technical proficiency with ESG-related platforms integration and maintenance, strong data analytical skills, and a passion for sustainability and responsible business practices.

What your background should look like:

  • Lead the deployment, configuration, and integration of ESG software and platforms.
  • Work with internal stakeholders to define ESG data requirements and system workflows
  • Ensure ESG software aligns with regulatory reporting standards (GRI, SASB, TCFD, CSRD, EU Taxonomy, etc.).
  • Collaborate with IT and sustainability teams to integrate ESG data sources across TE. 
  • Perform regular system updates, security patches, and software enhancements together with TEIS and software vendor.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and optimize system performance
  • Maintain Data integrity, security, and compliance with ESG regulations
  • Develop and implement automated data collection process for ESG metrics.
  • Manage ESG data collection, validation, and storage to ensure accuracy.
  • Generate ESG report, dashboards, and insights for internal and external stakeholders reporting.
  • Assist in ESG report submission for regulatory authorities, investors, and sustainability disclosures.
  • Monitor ESG regulatory changes and update systems accordingly.
  • Support Internal and external audits.
  • Identify opportunities for process automation and efficiency improvements in ESG reporting.
  • Stay updated on emerging ESG technology trends, AI driven sustainability solutions, and industry best practices.

Your ideal background:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Sustainability, Environmental Science, or related field.

  • 3+ years of experience with ESG software, IT systems, data analytics, or sustainability reporting.

  • Familiar with ESG frameworks: GRI, SASB, TCFD, CSRD, ISSB.

  • Hands-on experience with ESG or sustainability platforms (e.g., Workiva, Sphera, Microsoft Sustainability Manager).

  • Skilled in data integration (APIs, SQL/NoSQL, ETL), and data visualization (Power BI, Tableau).

  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) and data security (e.g., GDPR, ESG data governance).

  • Strong understanding of ESG regulations (EU Taxonomy, CSRD, SEC climate rules).

  • Proven ability to manage ESG system projects and coordinate with cross-functional teams.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

  • Experience supporting ESG digital transformation and change management.
