We are seeking a Research Data Analyst who will work under the direct supervision of an Assistant Professor. The Research Data Analyst will primarily assist with the day-to-day logistical and operational tasks, especially pertaining to data management for the portfolio of projects relating to COVID-19, TB, and HIV. Tasks include largely remote work.


Specific Duties & Responsibilities

  • Developing and managing project databases in Redcap for multi-site therapeutic trial, HIV-Prep, and Zero TB projects in the Tibetan and Himalayan populations in Southeast Asia.
  • Conduct regular data quality checks.
  • Analysis of data and generation of tables for presentations, manuscripts and grant proposals.
  • Understand the data sharing policies in accordance with standard guidelines and following the best practices for various data types.
  • Assist research design including sample size calculations, randomization schemes, and statistical analysis plan for clinical studies.
  • Assist in developing questionnaires for key informant interviews among representatives from school including students, teachers, and home mothers.
  • Follow established research protocols and will complete the training needed as per the protocol. Responsible for data entry of collected data and ensuring the safety and security of data.
  • Assist in creating a budget and keeping track of financial invoices.
  • Assist with writing of research protocols.
  • Complete all other duties as assigned and work closely with the research program coordinator to ensure the completion of all research-related activities.


Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in a related discipline.
  • Three years of related experience.


Preferred Qualifications
  • Master’s Degree with related experience
  • Understanding of the geopolitical situation in the context of global health delivery and diplomacy, and an understanding of the delivery of education and health. Systems in low-middle income countries, the Tibetan refugee community, culture and language, and its social structure are preferred.
  • Knowledge of SAS, Python, STATA, or R.

Starting Salary Range: $48,000 - $84,100 Annually ($66,000 targeted; Commensurate w/exp.)
