Job Description
- Studies data sources by interviewing users; defining, analyzing, and validating data objects; identifying the relationship among data objects.
- Plans data integration process by developing common definitions of sourced data; designing common keys in physical data structure; establishing data integration specifications; examining data applications.
- Examines data models and determines best-fit data interchange methods.
- Assesses middleware tools for data integration, transformation, and routing.
- Develops project scope and specifications identifying factors that negatively impact integration; forecasts resource requirements and establishes delivery timetables.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Information Systems, Engineering, Physical Sciences, Life Sciences or closely related field or equivalent related professional experience is required. Additional certifications are preferred.
- Seven or more (7+) years of experience in a development role, designing and developing integrations to internal and external applications
