About The Role

We are looking for a Product Analytics Intern to join our Product Analytics organization. This position reports to the Team Lead, Product Analytics working closely with the rest of the analytics team supporting our Product Organization. The ideal candidate will execute big data analyses, demonstrate strong attention to detail, communicate effectively, possess business acumen, and have a keen product intuition.

 

What you’ll do

This role will support our Brand Safety and Classification product organization in driving data-driven decisions across various areas. You will help bridge our data science endeavors through operational excellence, supporting the development of ML/AI technologies that power our classification systems, querying and analyzing data, evaluating feature alternatives, and creating insightful dashboards.

 

Job responsibilities

  • Gather and analyze large amounts of information to discover and develop compelling, insightful, data-driven recommendations.
  • Define, calculate, and evaluate success metrics.
  • Communicate the state of business, experiment results, etc., to product and engineering teams.
  • Monitor key product metrics and system health, and conduct root cause analyses.
  • Partner with Operations and Engineering teams to improve process efficiencies.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the products and their development processes, determine the best solutions for everyday issues, and suggest new features to address ongoing problems.

 

Who you are

  • Currently pursuing a BA/BSc degree with 2-3 semesters left in a quantitative field such as Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Engineering, or other technical fields having a GPA >= 85
  • Available to work 2.5 days per week for 12 months. 
  • Strong interest in quantitative analysis and data-driven decision-making.
  • Basic experience with SQL and Python (for data manipulation) or any other data analysis language (SPSS, R, etc.).
  • A team player with an ability to work independently as well as in a team
  • Understanding of statistics (e.g., hypothesis testing, regression types).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Capable of working simultaneously on multiple tasks.
  • Willing to learn and be the best in what you do.

 

Preferred qualifications

  • Experience working with a product team on data-driven decisions.
  • Previous experience as a BI / Data / Product Analyst in B2B or Product companies
