In this role, you will:
As a senior data scientist on the Enterprise Supply Chain – Process Intelligence Strategy & Analytics team, the incumbent will champion the use of data and process analysis, lead digital enablement and transformation using process mining and create engaging and interactive applications utilizing Celonis process intelligence platform across supply chain processes.
This person will be accountable for process mining and analytics insights to ensure supply chain (SC) business process and technology capabilities are effective and efficient. Further, the data scientist will focus on technical development and data-driven insights to drive successful transformational activities related to functional areas within SC; including yet not limited to process areas of Order To Cash, Transportation, Warehouse Logistics, Deployment, Inventory, and Asset Reliability. The incumbent must possess a combination of advanced analytical thinking and data mining skills, advanced experience in data architecture design and development in addition to experience with algorithms and coding.
This business technical role will create and maintain a robust data architecture used in process orchestration including data transformations, object-centric data model development, automations, and visual apps for sustained problem-solving. The role will utilize coding methodologies, as well as cutting edge AI and machine learning, to enable process observability, improvement, monitoring & management to solve a broad spectrum of operational supply chain challenges.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Drive the execution of industry process intelligence solutions to ensure SC optimization and address critical business needs
- Leverage strong technical acumen to advance data architecture strategy, data transformations, accuracy and availability
- Identify and optimize complex operational processes through Celonis process digital twin development of data transformations, analyses, automations, action flows and predictive analytical apps
- Accountable to analyze and interpret enterprise supply chain processes influencing strategic and tactical recommendations.
- Leverage analytical insights to drive operational improvements and transformations from Excel-based tools / static dashboards to efficient, standardized, and sustainable robust Celonis intelligence apps
- Influence and develop new strategic automations and leverage machine learnings through Celonis
- Implement advanced analytics methods to derive insights that drive SC optimization to support business growth
- Interact with internal and external peers and leadership to share highly complex information/solutions related to areas of expertise and/or to gain acceptance of new or enhanced technology/ business solutions.
- Use data to align, develop and mobilize supply chain best practices that deliver improved service, reduced distribution cost & complexity, and enable inventory reductions at K-C and the customer.
- Build strong sustainable business relationships at various levels throughout the organization and key customers

Required qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Supply Chain, Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science or related technical field.
- 7+ years of business experience with cross-functional Supply Chain experience.
- Celonis software experience including areas such as process analysis, transformations, action flows and automations.
- Advanced data visualization and design skills with data representation and presentation
- Knowledge of or willingness / ability to learn new analytical and automation tools
- Demonstrated leadership in executing innovative solutions through process and technology
- Ability to gather and comprehend specific business requirements, providing recommended solutions and swiftly transform them into technical solutions
- Ability to work in a virtual team that will function across regions, cultures, time zones, reporting lines and may extend outside the K-C organization, including suppliers, partners and customers
Preferred Experience / Qualifications:
- Strong technical/analytic skills and experience in multiple platforms (SAP R/3 & S4 and Business Warehouse (BW) reporting, S4, Celonis, Power BI, Power Query)
- 5+ years of working experience in data science, analytics and/or data modeling
- Experience with statistical modeling, advanced coding skills (R, Python preferred) and Excel functionality
- Advanced experience with relational database structure and data architecture design, SQL, SAP HANA / VDMs, Snowflake
- Demonstrated experience in strategic problem-solving, innovative/analytical thinking and influence with ability to simplify complex concepts for ease of understanding
- Passion for solving complex data problems and generating cross-functional solutions in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated expertise in: oral & written communication, interpersonal skills, adaptability, change and project management

Salary Range: 105,740 – 130,620 USDAt Kimberly-Clark, pay is just one aspect of our total rewards package, which also includes a variety of benefits and opportunities to achieve, thrive and grow. Along with base pay, this position offers eligibility for a target bonus and a comprehensive benefits suite, including our 401(k) and Profit Sharing plan. The anticipated base pay range for this role is provided above for a fully qualified hire. Actual pay will depend on several factors, such as location, role, skills, performance, and experience.
