Data Analytics Consultant (Contractor role)

Key Responsibilities

• Develop interactive dashboards and reports using Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC).
• Create and manage semantic models and logical data layers for self-service analytics.
• Design and implement data models (e.g., star/snowflake schema) to support business reporting.
• Analyze structured and unstructured data to uncover trends, patterns, and opportunities.
• Build and deploy machine learning models using Python, R, or Oracle Machine Learning (OML).
• Communicate insights and recommendations to business and technical stakeholders.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify use cases and validate ML outcomes.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in data analytics or a related role.
• Proficiency with Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC) or other BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
• Solid understanding of data modeling principles and SQL (preferably on Oracle).
• Hands-on experience building or applying machine learning models for classification, regression, or clustering tasks.
• Experience with Python.
• Ability to communicate technical findings in a clear, actionable way.
