Position Purpose
Reporting to the Director of Business Intelligence and Data, the Data Analyst will collect and analyze data from multiple sources to support the analytics and business intelligence initiatives across Heartland Veterinary Partners. This role will focus on transforming raw data into actionable insights, developing meaningful reports and dashboards, identifying trends, and leveraging analytics to improve organizational efficiency and effectiveness. This is a full-time remote role. Candidates within Heartland's geographic footprint will be prioritized.

Essential Responsibilities
- Collect, organize, manage, and analyze large datasets from various fragmented and legacy systems to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
- Identify and address data inconsistencies, errors, and missing values, as well as perform data validation, normalization, and standardization techniques to ensure data accuracy and reliability for analysis purposes.
- Develop and maintain visualizations, interactive dashboards, and reports to communicate data findings to stakeholders using Power BI, as well as Python libraries, in a clear and concise manner.
- Develop and maintain data models for use by all data and analytics team members using SQL stored procedures, Power Query, Power BI, and other tools.
- Monitor key performance indicators, track metrics, and evaluate program outcomes and impact using data-driven approaches.
- Build and implement automation for business processes and reporting.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support ad-hoc data analysis requests.
- Document data definitions and production code.
Requirements/Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in data analytics or a related field.
- 4+ years of experience with SQL query writing, view creation, and stored procedures.
- 3+ years of experience with Power BI and Power Query.
- Experience with Python, Power Automate, and SharePoint.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to collaborate across teams.
- Familiarity with veterinary healthcare or healthcare analytics is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to translate technical insights into business strategies.

Pay Range
