The HR Analytics Analyst is responsible for transforming workforce data into meaningful insights that guide strategic talent decisions and enhance the employee experience. This role plays a key part in shaping data-informed human resources practices by developing and maintaining dashboards, generating reports, and conducting advanced analyses. The analyst collaborates closely with HR, business leaders, and cross-functional teams to deliver solutions that support organizational effectiveness and drive continuous improvement.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Partner with HR and business stakeholders to identify analytical needs and deliver insights on key people topics (e.g., talent acquisition, turnover, DEI, performance, engagement).
- Build and maintain dashboards, reports, and data visualizations using tools like Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms.
- Analyze large, complex datasets to generate insights and trends.
- Support advanced analytics projects, including predictive modeling and statistical analysis.
- Contribute to workforce planning, headcount forecasting, and other strategic planning efforts.
- Translate complex analyses into clear, concise recommendations for non-technical stakeholders.
- Stay current on HR and analytics trends, tools, and best practices.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Statistics, Economics, Data Science, Psychology, HR, Business) or equivalent experience.
- 2+ years of experience in data analysis, preferably in HR, People Analytics, or related functions.
- Proficient in data tools such as Excel, SQL, Python or R, and data visualization platforms like Power BI or Tableau.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with attention to detail.
- Experience working with Workday is a plus.
- Excellent communication and storytelling skills with the ability to influence and inform stakeholders.
- Experience with statistical modeling, survey analysis, or predictive analytics preferred.
- Understanding of key HR metrics and concepts (e.g., attrition, engagement, recruitment, performance, etc.) preferred.
- Knowledge of data privacy and compliance in HR analytics preferred.
