Senior Product Manager

Our mission is clear: transform how the world works using AI and rewire human productivity for the next 30 years. We do this by designing and building innovative AI agents on the Copilot platform, including agent templates for makers as well as more bespoke solutions in partnership with leading companies like Dow, Visa, Air India, ServiceNow, Adobe, and Cohere. We also own and drive updates to the underlying platform and product. 

We are looking for curious, entrepreneurial, and AI-savvy Senior Product Manager to join our team and lead this groundbreaking transformation across diverse industries and scenarios. You will operate in a fast-paced environment with rapid exploration and be expected to practice a high sense of ownership with a bias for execution. You will need to be comfortable with rapid change, the opportunities enabled by ambiguity, and leveraging a mix of technical, business, and UX skills for maximum impact. 

Our core product is Microsoft 365 Copilot, Agents, Copilot Extensibility, built atop a powerful and constantly evolving Azure AI foundation. This platform leverages the reach and depth of Microsoft 365 and rich integration capabilities to apply the power of AI directly to relevant end-user data and scenarios. Developers can leverage custom skills and institutional knowledge to enable truly transformative AI scenarios and powerful connected workflows. 

As a Senior Product Manager on our Copilot Agents Platform Ecosystem team, you will directly strategize, envision, and build the next wave of AI solutions on the Microsoft 365 Copilot platform. You’ll work across our engineering teams and with some of the most innovative companies in the world to deliver engaging and transformative AI solutions for use by millions of end-users while also driving our platform growth strategy. This role is a wonderful opportunity for an AI-focused product manager with solid technical chops and an interest in getting closer to the customer and partner action. 

In this role, you will also have a direct role in pushing the latest AI frontiers, including autonomous agentic workflows, deep research and reasoning, multi-agent frameworks, and complex data reasoning. And we are focused on delivering high-quality user experiences, from conversational UX to emerging interaction models across the Microsoft and Copilot ecosystem.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product designers, architects, executives, and end-users from leading AI companies and solution providers.
• Pitch AI agents' potential to transform business processes in new industries and innovative problem spaces. 
• Lead scenario envisioning and UX+technical design to build and ship Copilot platform solutions; advise on GTM (go to market)/adoption and evolving product and portfolio strategy. 
• Serve as a key expert for Copilot platform capabilities; train, advise, and guide customers and partners on technical capabilities, solution design, and AI platform strategy. 
• Develop and drive engagement programs to enable “hockey stick” ecosystem growth based on designed scenarios. 
• Capture, frame, and drive key product insights and developer ecosystem signals from the market to shape the future of Microsoft AI platform, apps, and developer toolset. 
• Research, contextualize, prototype, and evangelize frontier technology trends to drive long-term product shifts. 
• Embody the Microsoft culture and values   

Qualifications

Required Qualifications: 

• Bachelor's Degree AND 5+ years experience in product/service/project/program management or software development
  • OR equivalent experience.
• 3+ experience with AI applications and agents, including conversational UX, agent frameworks, and/or GPT(Generative Pre-trained Transformers)/Copilot solutions.
• 5+ years of experience in business technology scenarios with commercial SaaS offerings or customer solutions.
• Experience presenting to executives (internally and externally) within technical domains.

Preferred Qualifications: 

• Recent experience driving generative AI-based solutions [RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation), GPT, LLM (large language model)] and general awareness of the rapidly-evolving AI, especially generative AI landscape.
• Hands-on experience with the Microsoft technology stack (M365 Copilot extensibility, Copilot Studio, AI agents, Azure OpenAI, Graph Connectors, Microsoft Teams extensibility platform, etc.).
• Creative and agile product thinking about enterprise product scenarios, UX, and architecture.

Product Management IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $117,200 - $229,200 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $153,600 - $250,200 per year.
