Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Management:
  • Lead complex, cross-functional AI/ML projects from initiation to delivery, ensuring alignment with business goals and objectives.
    
  • Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocation strategies to ensure successful project execution.
    
  • Proactively identify and resolve project risks and dependencies, working with teams to mitigate roadblocks.
    
  • Ensure that AI/ML projects meet timelines, quality standards, and business objectives.
    
• Stakeholder Management:
  • Work with AI/ML engineers, data scientists, and managers to gather requirements and define project scope.
    
  • Regularly communicate project status, risks, and changes to stakeholders at all levels, including executives.
    
  • Serve as the main point of contact between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders.
    
• Team Leadership & Mentorship:
  • Lead and mentor project teams, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented work environment.
    
  • Promote best practices in AI/ML project management and agile methodologies.
    
  • Encourage innovation, and facilitate the development of new AI products and features.
    
• Process Improvement:
  • Continuously assess and refine AI project management processes to ensure efficiency, quality, and scalability.
    
  • Implement Agile or other relevant methodologies tailored to AI/ML teams and projects.
    
  • Work with engineering leadership to optimize workflows and improve delivery velocity.
    
• Risk & Issue Management:
  • Identify, track, and manage project risks, issues, and roadblocks, working with stakeholders to develop mitigation plans.
    
  • Monitor and report on project health and progress, adjusting plans as needed to address changes in scope or timeline.
    

Qualifications:

• Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, AI/ML, or a related field.
    
• Experience:
  • 6+ years of experience as a Technical Project Manager  in AI, Machine Learning, or Data Science projects.
    
  • Proven experience leading cross-functional teams in delivering AI/ML project.
    
  • Strong background in AI/ML technologies (e.g., deep learning, reinforcement learning, NLP, computer vision) and an understanding of their applications.
    
  • Experience working with data scientists, engineers, and product managers to translate business needs into technical requirements.
    
• Technical Skills:
  • Familiarity with AI/ML frameworks and libraries.
    
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines in an AI context.
    
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (preferred is Azure) and big data tools.
    
  • Experience with AI/ML project development life cycles.
    
  • Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software development processes.
    
• Program Management Skills:
  • Experience with Agile, Scrum, or Kanban methodologies.
    
  • Strong knowledge of project management tools (e.g., Jira, Asana, Trello).
    
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with a demonstrated ability to juggle multiple priorities.
    
• Soft Skills:
  • Ability to speak the language of both technical and business stakeholders, ensuring that AI/ML concepts are communicated clearly.
    
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a data-driven approach to decision-making.
    
  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced, ambiguous environments and adapt to changing priorities.
