POSITION: Director Data Scientist

LOCATION: 6555 State Highway 161, Irving, TX 75039

JOB DUTIES: Utilize advanced analytics, machine learning, and predictive modeling to identify trends, risks, and opportunities within the business units (customer experience, procurement, marketing, etc.) Develop and execute data-driven strategies to optimize marketing spends, procurement processes. Collaborate with business stakeholder & MT Engagement Leads to identify existing, or new, areas that can benefit significantly from advanced analytics Leverage simulation to support financial next best actions and integrate data science and machine learning techniques into existing analytics workflows. Communicate strategy and results to technical and non-technical audiences. Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, partners, and internal clients. Manage business stakeholder relationships to drive action and value from data science insights Identify areas needed to up-skill expertise by attracting new talent, developing existing multi-disciplinary talent (data scientists, data engineers and business analysts), and/or implementing strategic sourcing partnerships. Stay abreast of market evolutions and dynamics regarding McKesson’s position in industry. 100% telecommuting allowed from any location in the U.S. 10% domestic travel required.

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s Degree or foreign equivalent in Mathematics, Data Science or a related field and Five (5) years of experience in Business Analytics, Business Intelligence, Machine Learning or related occupation.

Applicant must have 5 years demonstrated experience in each of the following:

• Python – to develop statistical and machine learning models;
• SQL – to extract, consolidate and manipulate data;
• R - to develop statistical and machine learning models;
• PowerBI – to visualize analytics and data science work via charts/graphs and tables;
• Tableau - to visualize analytics and data science work via charts/graphs and tables

OFFERED WAGE: $140,109 - $232,100/year
