About the Role

As a Banking & Deposits Data Analyst, you’ll be at the heart of data-driven decision making in a digital-first banking environment. You'll leverage rich behavioral, transactional, and engagement data to optimize deposit growth, deepen customer relationships, and enhance the digital customer experience. Your insights will directly influence the strategy, design, and performance of digital deposit offerings—including checking, savings, and CD products—across mobile and web platforms. This is a high-impact role where analytical curiosity meets fintech innovation.

What You'll Do

  • Collaborate with digital product, marketing, design, and operations teams to define key business questions around customer acquisition, engagement, retention, and deposit growth
  • Analyze customer journeys, behavioral data, product usage, and lifecycle trends to uncover friction points and opportunities within the digital deposit experience.
  • Build and maintain analytical frameworks and dashboards to monitor real-time product performance, including deposit flows, funnel conversion, and campaign effectiveness
  • Drive end-to-end analytical projects from scoping and data exploration through insight development, storytelling, and cross-functional action planning
  • Support A/B and multivariate testing across product and marketing initiatives, providing deep statistical insights to optimize digital journeys
  • Enhance data models and customer segmentation frameworks to inform personalization, pricing, and targeting strategies
  • Partner with Data Engineering to improve data accessibility, quality, and scalability within data environments (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery)
  • Contribute to the development of customer-centric KPIs, ensuring visibility across product, growth, and operations teams
  • Stay attuned to trends in digital banking, deposits, and fintech, constantly seeking ways to translate those into data-backed recommendations

About You

  • 0–1 years of experience in analytics, ideally in digital banking, fintech, or consumer tech
  • Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Statistics, Data Science, Finance, Economics); or equivalent work experience
  • Analytical skills with a proven ability to derive insights from large-scale customer data
  • Expertise in SQL and proficiency in Python, R, or another data scripting language
  • Advanced data visualization skills using tools like Tableau or Looker, with a focus on usability and storytelling
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills; able to translate complex data into actionable business recommendations
  • Comfortable working in agile environments with cross-functional product and engineering teams
  • Familiarity with experimentation frameworks and A/B testing best practices
  • You're passionate about digital banking, customer data, and using analytics to transform the way people interact with their money
  • You thrive in fast-moving environments, love exploring user behavior, and bring a strategic mindset to every problem
  • You’re equal parts curious and methodical—always asking “why” and always building solutions that scale

Desired Skills

  • Experience with CRM, core banking systems, and data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake, Teredata, or similar platforms)
  • Experience in lifecycle marketing, consumer segmentation, campaign analytics, funnel optimization or deposit pricing analytics
  • Understanding of digital deposit products, user journeys, and key metrics across mobile/web channels
  • Exposure to regulatory and compliance considerations for digital banking products
  • Background in continuous improvement and process optimization
