Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the team to understand business issues and identify opportunities for the application of data analysis and machine learning techniques.

• Engage in data cleaning, preprocessing, and exploratory data analysis.

• Assist in the development and validation of machine learning models.

• Contribute to the implementation and deployment of machine learning solutions in cloud environments.

• Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to present findings and solutions.

• Research new models, data sources, implementations, and recent developments that can enhance the solutions of the department.

Qualifications & Professional Skills

• Current enrollment or recent completion of a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related fields.

• Proficient in Python programming with familiarity in machine learning libraries such as scikit-learn, NetworkX, PyTorch, etc.

• Understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.

• Strong foundation in mathematics, particularly in statistics and linear algebra.

• Acquainted with software development tools and practices, including version control (git), testing, and debugging.

• Exceptional problem-solving abilities.

• Team-oriented with a capacity for collaborative work in a team environment.

• Strong planning, scheduling, and organizational capabilities.

• A dedication to client service excellence.

• Advanced level of English.

Preferred Technical Skills

• Experience or knowledge of databases and SQL.

• Familiarity with Cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP).

• Understanding of deploying machine learning models in a production environment.

Work Location & Schedule

• Based in Madrid with flexibility for teleworking.

• Part-time position with schedule adaptability.

• Type of internship: Intra-curricular or extra-curricular internships, whatever you need!

• Duration of approx. 6 months, adjustable to university requirements.
