What makes this role important at Ipsos?

We’re looking for someone with a deep interest and expertise in program management and the dedication to apply that passion. The Program Architect is a pivotal role responsible for program management on large and complex market research tracking programs, designing, implementing, and overseeing technical solutions to address complex data management and research challenges across various projects. This position requires a blend of technical expertise, strategic thinking, and strong communication skills to bridge the gap between business needs and technological capabilities.  The role also requires conscientious attention to detail, an ability to work well on a small team, and a self-starter approach to problem solving and debugging.

 

What you can expect to be doing:

Strategic Process Design and Program Assessments

  • Design processes for managing key program engagements: handling data processing pipelines for both retained programs with complex historical data and new high-value tracking programs
  • Combine process design knowledge with strong leadership skills to conduct a program review, data management and stakeholder assessment
  • Use program management methods and tools for conducting program assessments; define and document the objective, findings and what success looks like; ensure alignment with organizational priorities to get leadership buy-in

Program Architecture Process Management

  • Design processes and frameworks for optimizing programs and building support for necessary measures via use of roadmaps, data flow diagrams and risk assessment and communication documents
  • Identify roles and responsibilities across the cross-functional team
  • Capture technical debt and build in processes to reduce it
  • Ensure consistent application of disciplined approaches across the programs with standard tools and platforms; gather feedback on project outcomes and document processes in a centralized knowledge base
  • Design change management processes to catalyze technical innovation within these programs
  • Provide training and onboard researchers and data processing teams on data management changes as program needs develop
  • Prepare a program level playbook that ensures process change continuity; support requirements and continued project metrics tracking process

Program Data Pipeline Process Management and Monitoring

  • Research and collect program materials in collaboration with Researchers and Data Processing teams
  • Create technical project specification documentation in preparation for pipeline implementation
  • Onboard implementation engineering and internal development teams on technical program requirements and special needs
  • Understand and share reporting requirements to be managed through the pipeline development process
  • Be part of the team to establish Standard Operating Processes (SOPs)

Stakeholder Management and Communication

  • Be an effective technology liaison between clients, researchers, and technology teams
  • Design processes for an integrated environment driving efficiency within data management, and client deliverables
  • Implement systems for clear stakeholder updates on program status, issues, risk management and timelines
  • Implement methodologies for translating business objectives into technical specifications and communicating impacts of changes or decisions

 

This might be the job for you if you have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Business Analysis, Project Management, or related field
  • 5+ years’ experience in a Market Research Environment
  • Project Management Professional (PMP®) or similar experience preferred
  • Working knowledge of Project Management methodologies, particularly Agile
  • Advanced numeracy and data management
  • Working knowledge of data file formats (e.g., JSON), Python, SQL, etc.
  • Fluency in some sort of data platform, whether it is SQL, Big Query, SPSS
  • Working knowledge of Jira or other similar software
  • Expert knowledge of Microsoft suite of products
  • Knowledge of research methodologies & techniques
  • Knowledge of major data visualization suites
  • Knowledge of statistics and data analysis
  • Strong analytical skills and logical thinking
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Strong attention to detail and communications, collaboration, organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Effectively prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, meeting tight deadlines while maintaining quality

In accordance with NY/CO/CA/WA law, the estimated base salary range for this role is $105,000 to $120,000. Your final base salary will be determined based on several non-discriminatory factors which may include but are not limited to location, work experience, skills, knowledge, education and/or certifications.
