Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines using Python, Java, and Go.
• Write efficient, well-documented SQL queries to extract and transform data from various sources.
• Assist in building and optimizing ETL processes to support business intelligence and data science needs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and ensure data accuracy and availability.
• Work with large datasets and modern cloud-based tools and platforms (AWS, GCP).
• Support the implementation and monitoring of data quality checks and validation processes.
• Document data processes and contribute to internal knowledge bases.

Who We Look For

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proficiency in Python, Java, and Go for backend and data engineering tasks. Strong command of SQL for querying and transforming data.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services (e.g., S3, Lambda, Redshift, Glue) and GCP tools (e.g., BigQuery, Dataflow, Cloud Storage).
• Understanding of data modeling, normalization, and database design principles.
• Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with containerization (e.g., Docker) and orchestration tools (e.g., Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of data orchestration tools (e.g., Airflow, Prefect).
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Familiarity with streaming data platforms (e.g., Kafka, Pub/Sub).

The base pay range for this position in the state(s) above is $75,600.0 to $157,200.0 per year. Actual pay is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A sign on payment, relocation package, and restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package, as well as other medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the specific position offered.
