Schedule: Mon-Fri 9am-5pm (this is a hybrid position with in-office work at Cambridge, MA)   Salary: $150-$170k depending on experience   Reporting to the Chief Analytics & Performance Officer, the Senior Analytics Specialist will play a critical role in the effort to increase the number of data-informed decisions and drive a positive cultural shift throughout the organization. The Senior Analytics Specialist will deliver crucial insights and drive business performance while working with stakeholders across all levels, including the Senior Management Team.
  • Initiates and manages analytic strategies for the organization, including the identification of ways to maximize the impact of data on client outcomes and business performance
  • Delivers insights related to successful performance in financial, strategic, clinical, workforce, and other business-related domains
  • Works with IT and the Analytics & Performance Team to ensure the quality of Vinfen's data assets
  • Assists in the procurement of relevant data assets to drive benchmarking, performance monitoring, ROI, and value calculation
  • Leads the design, development, and delivery of complex business, health care, and human services related analytical projects
  • Performs exploratory data analysis to identify insights and trends
  • Informs the design and evaluation of key performance indicators across the organization
  • Produces analytic and reporting products for a wide audience across the organization
  • Promotes data literacy and data-informed decision making through communication of analytic outputs to non-technical stakeholders
  • Works collaboratively with analysts, finance, and other adjacent stakeholders to improve the organization's analytic capabilities and maintain a positive, data-informed culture
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

  • Proficiency in SQL and at least one statistical or scripting language (preferably Python or R)
  • Experience in predictive modeling and machine learning preferred
  • Experience working with large dataset, including claims data
  • Understanding of human services and/or health care, including quality measures
  • Experience with Power BI or other data visualization tool preferred
  • Excellent communication skills and experience engaging directly with all levels of an organization
