Note: This position will follow our hybrid work model, we expect the selected candidate to be in office 2-3 days a week at one of the following office locations: St, Petersburg, FL; Memphis, TN; or Southfield, MI.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a talented Qlik Sense BI Developer to join our team. This role involves designing, developing, and optimizing advanced dashboards and data visualizations to drive business intelligence and decision-making. The ideal candidate will have a passion for data, strong technical skills, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful insights. Familiarity with ServiceNow data sets and NICE Contact Center systems (or similar technologies) is highly desirable.
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and support advanced dashboards and data visualizations using Qlik Sense, Tableau, SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS), SSRS, and Excel.
Optimize SQL queries for data extraction, validation, and transformation.
Integrate and visualize key operational and service management metrics from ServiceNow and NICE Contact Center data sets.
Monitor and troubleshoot production jobs, proactively addressing performance issues.
Implement production changes within approved change control processes.
Conduct performance tuning of Qlik Sense dashboards to ensure optimal efficiency.
Work with structured and unstructured data sources, including SQL databases, Excel files, and flat files.
Develop and support ad hoc data visualizations and scheduled data feeds as per business needs.
Lead report migration projects, such as transitioning from Tableau to Qlik Sense.
Collaborate with Database Administrators (DBAs) and IT teams to resolve database-related issues.
Analyze and resolve application performance and technical issues, ensuring minimal downtime.
Communicate system downtimes and maintenance schedules, ensuring stakeholders are informed of potential metric impacts.
Leverage data from NICE Contact Center systems (or similar technologies) to analyze call center metrics and enhance business intelligence reporting.
Continuously review and improve existing reports and dashboards, enhancing execution time and accuracy.
Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Skills/Previous Experience:
Three (3) to five (5) years of relevant Business Intelligence experience would be preferred.
Required Qualifications:
Five (5) or more years of professional experience in data warehouse applications, including reporting, support, and migration.
Four (4) or more years of experience with Microsoft SQL Server, SSAS (Analysis Services), SSIS (Integration Services), and SSRS (Reporting Services).
Two (2) or more years of experience in production support, code migration, and environment management. Strong experience in business intelligence, including dashboard design, development, and migration.
Hands-on experience with ETL processes, data analysis, and troubleshooting.
Experience working with ServiceNow data sets to generate insights and operational reports.
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical insights to stakeholders at all levels.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in the Telecom or Financial Services industry, particularly in data warehousing, reporting, and service delivery.
Proficiency in Qlik Sense, Tableau, SQL, Oracle, SharePoint, and front-end reporting tools.
Familiarity with NICE Contact Center systems (or similar) to analyze call center performance metrics.
Familiarity with the metrics and reporting common to IT Support Service Desks.
Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, data modeling, and complex formulas.
Knowledge of Natural Language Processing (NLP), Artificial Intelligence-driven data aggregation, and report automation.
