Join Our Data Engineering Team as a Working Student!
Are you a bright and motivated student with a passion for data? Do you want to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic data engineering environment? Our Data Engineering Delivery and Operations team is looking for a proactive and curious Working Student to support our processes and contribute to our data landscape. This is a fantastic opportunity to learn from experienced engineers, work on real-world challenges, and build a strong foundation for your future career in data engineering.

As a Working Student, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our data pipelines and systems. You'll have the chance to dive into data warehousing concepts, contribute to important documentation, and assist senior engineers with a variety of tasks. If you're eager to learn, possess a logical and systematic approach to understanding and resolving issues, and enjoy collaborating with a team, you could be the right fit!

Key Responsibilities

  • Support Data Operations: Assist in the execution and monitoring of data processes, contributing to their stability and efficiency.

  • Participate in Cross-Functional Projects: Support data-related aspects of cross-functional projects and changes, working alongside senior team members and contributing to project tasks.

  • Contribute to Data Warehouse and Engineering Tasks: Support the development and maintenance of data warehouse tables and procedures, including the execution of pre-defined platform modernization tasks, and participate in learning about requirement analysis and solution design in collaboration with the team of senior data engineers.

  • Assist with Technical Documentation: Help create and maintain clear and concise technical documentation for our data processes and systems.

  • Support Incident Resolution: Participate in the identification, investigation, and resolution of data-related incidents under the guidance of senior team members.

Qualifications 

  • Currently enrolled student in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

  • Basic SQL knowledge and experience writing simple queries.

  • Familiarity with Amazon Web Services (AWS) is a plus but not a necessity.

  • Curious and proactive mindset with a genuine eagerness to learn and grow.

  • Strong understanding of complex topics and ability to quickly grasp new technical concepts.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills for effective contribution to team efforts.

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage tasks effectively.

  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.

  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
