Job Title - Sr Lead / Lead / Associate Manager

Job Summary
This role will lead and mentor a team of engineers, modelers, and analysts, providing technical guidance while overseeing the optimization of data assets. With a focus on hands-on technical experience and leadership skills, you will drive impactful outcomes and collaborate with global stakeholders to align data initiatives with business objectives, fostering innovation in healthcare data solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership & Management (80%)
Build and mentor a high-performing, diverse team aligned with organizational needs, fostering a collaborative and inclusive environment.
Participate in hiring processes, performance reviews, and professional development initiatives, including upskilling and training opportunities.
Collaborate with matrix leads and managers in the United States to align goals, architecture, standards, and technical requirements.
Set performance goals, KPIs, and clear expectations for team members, conducting regular reviews and providing actionable feedback.
Plan and monitor quarterly deliverables, removing dependencies and blockers to ensure successful project execution.
Promote a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and technical excellence.
Technical Contribution & Oversight (20%)
Provide technical leadership in the design and implementation of end-to-end data solutions, including storage, integration, processing, and visualization.
Collaborate with data science and business intelligence leaders to ensure scalable, compliant, and secure data products.
Optimize deployment workflows, oversee CI/CD processes, and implement data governance and security best practices.
Utilize tools like Azure, Snowflake, DBT, and Python to design scalable data pipelines and architectures.
Drive process improvements in data quality, masking, automation, and the creation of reusable data products.
Conduct code reviews, enforce engineering best practices, and stay informed about emerging technologies to drive innovation.
Additional Responsibilities
Partner with product teams to align data strategies with business needs, integrating data assets into innovative solutions.
Act as a liaison between technical teams and healthcare subject matter experts to translate business needs into technical solutions.
Monitor and report on key performance indicators, driving measurable outcomes and continuous improvement.
Advocate for adopting innovative tools and methodologies to enhance the organization’s data capabilities.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
Minimum of 8 years of hands-on technical experience in data engineering, including expertise in Azure, Snowflake, DBT, and Python.
At least 2 years of people management experience managing teams in data engineering or intelligence initiatives.
Strong understanding of healthcare data requirements, regulatory frameworks, and operational challenges.
Proficiency in Agile methodologies and project management tools such as Jira and Confluence.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, with a focus on conflict resolution and team building.
Preferred Qualifications
Certifications in cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, Snowflake) or BI tools (Power BI, Tableau).
Experience with advanced analytics, machine learning models, or AI applications in healthcare.
Familiarity with additional cloud platforms such as AWS and GCP.
