Data Product Manager

Commcise offers independent, cloud-based (SAAS), fully-integrated commission management and research valuation solutions to the buy-side, sell-side and research providers through its COMMCISEBUY, COMMCISESELL and COMMCISECS product suite. Commcise is seeking an experienced and passionate individual to join our team to: 

• build-out new Data Products
• integrate AI into existing business functionality.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of data products, AI integration, and data pipelines, and will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions that meet the needs of our clients.

The role entails:

Product Strategy and Roadmap:

• Define and execute the product strategy and roadmap for data solutions.
• Identify market opportunities and customer needs to drive product innovation.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

• Work closely with data scientists, engineers, and stakeholders to develop and deliver data products.
• Ensure seamless integration of AI capabilities into existing business functionalities.

Data Pipeline Management:

• Oversee the design and optimisation of data pipelines to support product development and delivery.
• Collaborate with data engineers to ensure efficient data flow and processing.

Product Development:

• Prioritise features and enhancements based on customer feedback and business objectives.
• Work with the development team ensure quality deliverables, from ideation to launch.

Stakeholder Communication:

• Communicate product vision, strategy, and progress to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Gather and incorporate feedback to continuously improve product offerings.

Key Accountabilities

• Develop and maintain a comprehensive product strategy and roadmap that aligns with business objectives and market demands
• Collaborate with and coordinate cross-functional teams, including data scientists, engineers, and stakeholders, to ensure successful product development and delivery
• Oversee the design, implementation, and optimisation of data pipelines to ensure efficient data processing and integration into product solutions
• Engage with internal and external stakeholders to gather feedback, communicate product vision, and ensure alignment with customer needs and expectations
• Monitor product performance and user feedback, implementing improvements and optimisations to enhance product quality and customer satisfaction.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required

Essential:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in product management, preferably in data-driven solutions.
• Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, AI concepts, and data pipeline architectures.
• Proven track record of delivering successful products in a fast-paced environment.

Desirable:

• Experience with cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Familiarity with data visualisation tools and APIs.
• Knowledge of machine learning techniques and libraries.

Education:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
