What You'll Bring:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Analytics, Business, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in legal, regulatory, and compliance investigations.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in analytics tools such as SQL, Python, R, and data visualization software.
  • Strong understanding of logic, definitions, and argumentation
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Experience with project management and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Impact You'll Make:

  • Utilize advanced analytics tools and techniques to analyze large datasets and uncover insights and produce evidence.
  • Develop and implement data-driven strategies to identify and resolve issues.
  • Conduct thorough research and analysis to support business needs, including legal, regulatory, and compliance investigations.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of systems and recommend improvements.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders  to define scope, investigation parameters, and objectives.
  • Prepare detailed reports and presentations to clearly communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Ensure all investigative processes comply with policy and are well documented.
     

We are looking for a dynamic and seasoned strategy and operations minded Data Scientist who will engage with global and cross-functional teams throughout TransUnion to drive execution of systematic evaluation and special projects related to TU’s Consumer Interactive division.

This is a hybrid position and involves regular performance of job responsibilities virtually as well as in-person at an assigned TU office location for a minimum of two days a week.

Pay Scale Information :

The U.S. base salary range for this position is $78,750.00 - $131,250 annually. *The salary range for this position reflects a reasonable estimate of the range of compensation for this job. At TransUnion, actual compensation is based on careful consideration of additional factors such as (but not limited to) an individual’s education, training, work experience, job-related skill set, location, and industry knowledge, as well as the scope and responsibilities of the position and market considerations.

Regular, fulltime non-sales positions may be eligible to participate in TransUnion’s annual bonus plan. Certain positions may be also eligible for long-term incentives and other payments based on applicable company guidance and plan documents.
