SHARE YOUR PASSION.

We believe in creating an environment where our interns really can learn by doing  and where they are given their own areas of responsibility right from the start of their time with us. That’s why our experts will treat you as part of the team from day one, encourage you to bring your own ideas to the table – and give you the opportunity to really show what you can do.

At BMW, we are developing intelligent robots to handle complex tasks in our production and logistics environments. Within this, the approach of Vision-Language-Action models promise to scale automation for increasingly dynamic and complex tasks. Be part of our Logistics Robotics team in an innovative and international environment with flat hierarchies and high personal involvement in projects and tasks.

What awaits you?

  • You will work in the logistics robotics team and contribute to robotic projects in order to detect, locate and manipulate parts in the internal logistics.
  • Operate and implement teleoperation workflows for pick-and-place tasks using different state-of-the-art software solutions.
  • Collect and curate data for training Vision-Language-Action models and robotic policies using an existing pipeline.
  • Train different advanced imitation learning algorithms.
  • Carry out hardware upgrades on our robotic picking cell.
  • Integrate and evaluate trained models in real-world robotic environments.
  • Contribute to the improvement and maintenance of software libraries for data acquisition, generation, and preprocessing.

What should you bring along?
