About the Role:

We’re looking for a strategic, highly analytical, and business-minded leader to join our team as Senior Director, Content Insights & Planning. In this role, you will lead a team focused on uncovering and communicating impactful insights that directly inform content strategy, merchandising, programming, and acquisitions decisions. You’ll partner closely with stakeholders across Content, Data Science & Analytics, Product, and Finance to develop frameworks, roadmaps, and recommendations that help guide investment decisions, optimize title mix, and drive long-term audience growth.

This is a global role, with visibility and influence across all of Tubi’s markets, supporting content strategy and planning internationally.

You will work closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to surface actionable learnings that shape the future of Tubi’s content offering and merchandising, with a focus on performance, viewer behavior, and long-term audience growth.

This is a hybrid role based out of our Los Angeles office.

What You'll Do:

  • Lead the development of content performance frameworks and audience insights that drive strategy across Original Programming, Content Acquisition & Partnerships, and Scheduling. Provide data-driven guidance for greenlighting, scheduling, and optimizing content investments
  • Deliver recurring and ad hoc reporting to executive leadership, synthesizing complex data into actionable insights that inform strategic direction and investment decisions
  • Drive insight-backed recommendations to support merchandising efforts across editorial curation, ML personalization, and campaign execution—informing container strategy, title positioning, and the promotion of priority launches to maximize engagement and visibility
  • Drive audience segmentation analysis to support more personalized and effective content experiences in collaboration with Product and Data Science & Analytics teams
  • Develop projections and planning models that help prioritize content investments, shape the content roadmap, and align resources with strategic goals
  • Partner cross-functionally to provide data-backed content highlights, performance readouts, and scheduling insights that support strategic planning cycles
  • Identify and communicate emerging trends in viewer behavior, content consumption, and platform performance to guide future merchandising, programming and acquisition strategies
  • Represent the Content organization in cross-functional planning forums, advocating for content priorities and surfacing opportunities for strategic collaboration

Your Background

  • 10+ years of experience in content analytics, business intelligence, or strategic insights within a streaming or digital media environment
  • Strong expertise in content performance measurement, audience segmentation, and predictive modeling
  • Proven success translating complex data into actionable recommendations for creative and strategic stakeholders
  • Deep understanding of the streaming landscape, including Originals development, content acquisition, and viewer behavior patterns
  • Experience working closely with Content, Product, and Data Science teams to guide decisions and product evolution through insights
  • Exceptional storytelling skills, with the ability to influence at the executive level through data and narrative
  • Advanced Excel and data visualization skills; experience with BI tools like Looker, Tableau, or similar
  • Strong understanding of data pipelines, experimentation design, and measurement frameworks
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment
