About the DevCon Fellowship
The DevCon Fellowship is an insight program to empower developers to shape the future of our ecosystem through community-driven innovation, and to accelerate their personal and technical growth in the engineering community.
This is a self-guided experience during which you will have the unique opportunity to build groundbreaking projects and push the boundaries using Palantir's AI Platform.
All fellowship participants will receive a certificate of participation and will be guaranteed a priority application review. Candidates our recruiting team choose to move forward for consideration with will receive an expedited interview process towards an internship or full-time role at Palantir. For students, the DevCon Fellowship will provide early access to our Early Talent queues. This means you’ll have the unique opportunity to showcase your skills and initiate the recruitment process prior to applications going live in July.
Following the conclusion of the program, top project submissions may be selected as finalists & invited to attend DevCon3, an exclusive developer event hosted by Palantir in the Bay Area in late June 2025. Over the two days, finalists will take part in new product launches, hands-on workshops with Palantir product leads, and continue to build upon their project with the support of Palantirians. Finalists will also have the opportunity to meet with hiring managers, Palantir customers, and other AIP power-users from across the globe.

What You’ll Do: Video Demo Submission

  • We’re seeking intelligent individuals who are equipped to tackle real-world challenges to join us at DevCon and enter our recruiting pipeline. To apply, we invite you to demonstrate your ability to do this by building in our AI platform, AIP. This is your opportunity to identify a problem that matters to you and develop an innovative solution.

  • Identify a Problem & Innovate with Data: If you could solve a problem you care about, what would it be? What data would you use? We want to understand your creativity & problem solving abilities. Describe something you’d want to dive into and a high-level approach to how you’d design a solution and what data you would use. This will not lock you into a specific idea but will help us understand how you approach problem-solving and innovation. This is intentionally an open-ended prompt.
  • Allocate Time: We recommend allocating at least one week to familiarize yourself with AIP and to create your demo.
  • Submit a demo video: Showcase your project in a < 4 minute YouTube video demonstrating the components of your workflow. This will be your chance to showcase not only what you built but share the how and why behind you project to highlight not only technical skills but abilities to communicate solutions to challenging problems. Full video submission instructions will be sent to you once you submit your application via Lever.

  • Please note, your application will not be considered for this program until you’ve submitted your completed demo.
The window for submitting DevCon Fellowship projects is now through June 9, 2025 at 5 PM EST.

To apply, please submit the following:

  • Developer Tier: To build and submit your demo, you’ll need access to AIP, which you can sign up for here! A valid credit card will be required for identity verification (KYC) purposes. Your card will not be charged. In addition, there are residency requirements to open a personal AIP Dev Tier account (see below). Please make sure you use the same email address for your registration and developer tier sign-up.
  • Submit a recorded demo: You will receive the portal to submit your demo video once you submit the initial application via Lever.
  • Priority Recruitment review requirements:
  • Industry candidates — for a priority application review, please ensure you have an open application at the time of your project submission, using the same email address.
  • Early Talent candidates — applications go live July 1! We will email you a special URL to submit your early talent application once they are posted. Again, use the same email address so that we can ensure we link your fellowship project and job application together to allow priority review.

What We Require

  • US, Canada, UK, Germany or India residency to open your personal AIP Dev Tier account.
  • Unfortunately if you do not have this residency you are not able to participate in the program at this time. We are working to add more countries to this list, so please check back in the future!
  • Engineering background, preferred in fields such as Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, and Data Science.
  • Proficiency with one or more programming languages, such as Python, Java, C++, TypeScript/JavaScript, or similar.
