The role
Valtech is looking for a talented Senior Project Manager with background in data analytics delivery and project governance across complex digital ecosystems to join our growing delivery center team. This role is tailored for someone who not only thrives in translating business needs into technical roadmaps but also excels in leading cross-functional collaboration. You’ll oversee data-focused initiatives and platform enhancements across multiple enterprise systems, ensuring alignment between business objectives and execution.

Role responsibilities
- Own the full requirements lifecycle: from stakeholder interviews to crafting clear user stories, defining acceptance criteria, and producing process flows tailored to data and analytics initiatives.
- Govern and prioritize analytics backlogs across platforms such as SFCC, Fluent Commerce, Salsify, and ServiceNow ITSM (SNOW), ensuring sprint alignment and cross-platform delivery coherence.
- Facilitate and lead cross-functional workshops, backlog grooming, and refinement sessions to maintain shared understanding between technical and business stakeholders.
- Use tools like Power BI and ServiceNow to track and report on delivery KPIs, backlog throughput, issue velocity, and overall project health.
- Collaborate with development, QA, support, and analytics teams to ensure that implemented solutions align with data objectives and deliver quantifiable business value.
- Maintain oversight of key documentation: including data requirements, reporting logic, KEDBs, SOPs, and operational runbooks.
- Identify dependencies, surface risks, and manage escalations across distributed teams while driving timely resolution and stakeholder satisfaction.
Minimum qualifications

- 5+ years of experience in project or program management roles focused on data, analytics, or platform integration within enterprise environments.
- Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional delivery teams across multiple data platforms (e.g., SFCC, Fluent Commerce, Salsify, SNOW, ELK).
- Proficiency using project management and reporting tools including Jira, ServiceNow, Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.
- Strong understanding of CI/CD practices, DevOps environments, and operational support documentation (e.g., SOPs, KEDBs, Run Books).
- Experience managing stakeholders, coordinating across delivery streams, and ensuring traceable alignment between backlog items and business goals.
- Ability to synthesize large volumes of incident, ticket, or backlog data into clear insights and action plans.
Preferred qualifications
- Background in data governance, incident analytics, or service management reporting.
- Familiarity with observability tooling and trend diagnostics (e.g., ELK stack, SNOW dashboards).
- Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure, GCP, AWS) and data tools like Databricks or SQL-based pipeline systems.
- Certification in Agile (Scrum, SAFe) or ITIL frameworks.
