The Data Analytics Consultant will be a pivotal member of the Analytics Team, responsible for delivering critical insights that drive data-driven decision-making for financial institution clients. This role will be part of the data engineering team and will be responsible for ensuring that client-provided data is reviewed, imported, transformed, and quality-controlled into specifically requested data warehouses for ongoing projects and services.

RESPONSIBILITIES: • Collaborate with clients to receive, validate, and integrate delivered data files and data from other sources, ensuring accurate and timely loading across all active Data Analytics data warehouse environments. • Work with the Data Team Manager to monitor and maintain different data workflows. • Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable, and efficient ETL/ELT pipelines • Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines and address performance and reliability issues. • Collaborate with data analysts and data scientists to understand requirements and support their data needs. • Maintain comprehensive documentation of data architecture, workflows, and transformation logic. • Implement and promote data best practices, security, and governance standards.
QUALIFICATIONS: • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field. • 3+ years of experience in data engineering or similar roles. • Experience building, maintaining, and scaling ETL/ELT processes and infrastructure • Advanced level skills with MS SQL • Advanced proficiency in Python for data processing. • Hands-on experience with data pipeline tools (SSIS, Airflow, DBT) and version control systems (e.g., Git). • Knowledge of data modeling, schema design, and performance optimization. • Must be able to multitask and be very detail oriented. Teamwork attitude, flexibility, and the ability to manage different phases of a project. • Strong communication and presentation skills.
PREFERRED: • Prior experience working at a financial institution. • Knowledge and experience working with business intelligence tools. • Experience integrating AI into data pipelines to detect data anomalies.
