The Systems Analyst is a member of the Business Systems team, responsible for optimizing business processes and supporting the enterprise applications used by administrative departments, including Human Resources (HR), Legal, Marketing, and Office Administration and Operations. This role also supports the firm-wide adoption and effective use of Microsoft 365 tools, including SharePoint, Power Automate, and Copilot, to enhance collaboration, automation, and productivity.
The Systems Analyst participates in the implementation and enhancement of business systems, develops integrations, automates workflows, resolves production issues, and provides ongoing technical support. Key platforms supported include ServiceNow, NetDocuments, SugarCRM, Workday, SharePoint, and Power Automate, with integration and automation solutions developed using low-code platforms. The role also involves support for a variety of smaller SaaS applications used across departments.
Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities:
- Develop a deep understanding of HR, Legal, Marketing, and Admin & Ops business processes, data requirements, and system integration points.
- Learn and support enterprise SaaS applications including ServiceNow, NetDocuments, SugarCRM, Workday, and others as needed.
- Collaborate with business technical leads, vendors, and other IT groups to deliver solutions that align with organizational goals.
- Design, build, and maintain solutions using SharePoint Online, Power Automate, and Microsoft Forms to support intranet content, automate workflows, enable data collection and reporting, and connect business systems across administrative functions.
- Leverage Copilot, Chat GPT and other AI tools within solutions where appropriate.
- Perform routine administrative and monitoring tasks to ensure system stability and performance across multiple applications.
- Provide timely resolution for incidents and production issues, including root cause analysis and post-resolution reviews.
- Create technical and user documentation for system configurations, integrations, and support procedures.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related work experience.
- 3+ years of experience as a Systems Analyst or related role supporting enterprise business systems.
- Prior experience in professional services or legal industry preferred.
- Experience working with HR, Legal, or other administrative departments preferred.
- Strong, creative, analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to diagnose issues across systems and recommend/implement solutions.
- Proficiency with SharePoint, Power Automate, and Microsoft 365 tools.
- Proficiency with SQL queries and stored procedures.
- Experience with low-code/no-code platforms and tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to document and explain complex systems clearly.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with platforms such as ServiceNow, NetDocuments, SugarCRM, Workday, or similar systems a plus.
- Familiarity with agile project methods and system change management practices.
- Understanding of data security, compliance, and privacy considerations.
- Experience with C# and familiarity with APIs and integration frameworks a plus.
