Job Description

  • You develop test content for the characterization of inertial MEMS at the wafer level.
  • You set up and operate a vacuum wafer prober equipped with a laser Doppler vibrometer for MEMS devices.
  • You correlate data in static conditions and under mechanical stimulation using machine learning techniques.

Qualifications

  • You have a master's degree with excellent grades in a suitable field such as Physics, Electrical Engineering, Communications Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field
  • You have solid knowledge in electrical measurement techniques, analog electronics, and circuit design.
  • You bring experience with optical systems, semiconductors, MEMS, and FPGA systems and tools. You are proficient in programming with C++, Python, and Matlab.
  • You are a strong team player with the ability to work effectively in interdisciplinary teams.
  • You work in a self-organized and structured manner.
  • Good German and English communication skills

The final PhD topic is subject to your university.
