Role Overview

Our internships provide the opportunity to engage in impactful projects across areas such as Data Science, Data Engineering, Generative AI, and Engagement Management. Interns collaborate with expert teams, contributing to solutions that influence critical business decisions and deliver measurable results.

The specific focus of your internship will align with your area of interest, experience, and the availability of open projects within Fractal, ensuring a tailored and enriching experience.

Responsibilities

• Support the development and implementation of data-driven solutions, including models, analyses, or data pipelines.

• Analyze complex datasets to derive actionable insights for business stakeholders.

• Collaborate with team members on client-facing projects, delivering meaningful contributions.

• Engage actively in project planning, documentation, and client presentations.

• Explore and experiment with emerging AI methodologies, sharing insights to drive innovation.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Ph.D. in fields such as Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Statistics, Business Analytics, or related disciplines.

• Academic or practical project experience relevant to AI/ML, analytics, data engineering, or business strategy.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

• Enthusiasm for working collaboratively in dynamic, team-oriented environments.

• Curiosity and passion for applying technology-driven solutions to real-world problems.

Location

• This is a paid internship, available as onsite or hybrid based on team and project assignments. Primary locations include New York City, San Francisco, and Seattle. Specific location and arrangement will depend on team placement and project requirements.

Pay 

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Fractal, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the starting pay is minimum wage based on the state of your internship.

Benefits

As a full-time employee of the company or as an hourly employee working more than 30 hours per week, you will be eligible to participate in the health, dental, vision, life insurance, and disability plans in accordance with the plan documents, which may be amended from time to time. You will be eligible for benefits on the first day of employment with the Company. In addition, you are eligible to participate in the Company 401(k) Plan after 30 days of employment, in accordance with the applicable plan terms. The Company provides for 11 paid holidays and 12 weeks of Parental Leave. We also follow a "free time" PTO policy, allowing you the flexibility to take time needed for either sick time or vacation.
