THE JOB:

The Senior Manager of Data Insights will serve as a strategic and hands-on leader responsible for advancing data quality and delivering actionable insights across the organization. This individual will lead and develop a high-performing team of business analysts, implement rigorous data governance and quality standards, and collaborate cross-functionally to ensure the accuracy, reliability, and accessibility of key data assets that drive business decisions.

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

• Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing team of business analysts, fostering professional growth and collaboration.

• Develop and deliver training on data quality best practices, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

• Partner closely with engineering and business stakeholders to align on data priorities and ensure the consistent delivery of high-quality, business-ready data solutions.

• Drive enterprise-wide data quality initiatives, including data profiling, cleansing, validation, and ongoing monitoring.

• Conduct regular data audits, present actionable insights, and lead cross-functional remediation efforts to resolve data quality issues.

• Design, implement, and uphold standardized data quality frameworks and procedures that support scalable, reliable, and consistent data operations.

• Assess, recommend, and implement advanced data quality tools and technologies to enhance the accuracy, completeness, and reliability of organizational data assets.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field

• 4+ years of experience in data/team management, analytics, or related field (6+ years preferred)

• Strong knowledge of data warehousing, modeling, mining techniques, and analytics

• Proficiency in SQL, Python, or R; experience with Power BI

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work in fast-paced environments

• Industry experience in hospitality or gaming is a plus

• Lead and mentor a high-performing team of business analysts

• Design and deliver training on data quality best practices

• Collaborate with stakeholders to align on data needs and ensure high-quality solutions

• Drive data quality initiatives (profiling, cleansing, validation, monitoring)

• Ensure compliance with data standards and regulatory requirements

• Manage data quality metrics and monitoring tools

• Collaborate with IT and data teams on governance and data quality tools

• Conduct audits, report findings, and lead remediation efforts

• Maintain documentation of data quality procedures

• Provide ongoing training and mentorship on data quality practices
