Position Summary
The Director of Media Data Operations is a key role at Kinesso, responsible for defining the frameworks, standards, and governance that enable effective master data management and media data operations. This role ensures that teams leverage Interact and other data systems to drive operational excellence, client success, and compliance with governance policies. By establishing robust processes and setting clear expectations, the Director of Media Data Operations ensures consistency, quality, and innovation in how data is managed and utilized across the organization.
Responsibilities
Framework and Standards Development:
- Define and implement master data management frameworks to ensure data consistency, integrity, and accessibility across all teams.
- Develop and enforce media data governance standards that align with business goals, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
- Establish clear guidelines for data entry, maintenance, and quality assurance to drive operational efficiency and accountability.
Interact Optimization:
- Drive insights from operational processes leveraging Interact to streamline client operations and enhance data-driven decision-making.
- Design and maintain standards for Interact setup, including defining master data and ensuring seamless integration with external systems.
Governance and Compliance:
- Establish data quality metrics and reporting frameworks to monitor compliance and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Develop comprehensive client data governance programs, promoting adherence to standards across global teams.
Client Lifecycle Standards:
- Design detailed client onboarding frameworks that include Interact setup, master data definition, and data integration guidelines.
- Define and guide the client offboarding process to ensure compliance with contractual obligations and secure data management practices.
Training and Capability Building:
- Oversee the creation of training programs and resources to educate teams on data governance, master data management, and media data standards.
- Foster a culture of data literacy and operational alignment, empowering teams to execute with excellence.
Performance Monitoring and Reporting:
- Develop reporting frameworks to provide leadership with insights into data quality, governance adherence, and Interact utilization.
- Use performance metrics to continuously refine frameworks and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
Desired Skills & Experience
Technical Expertise:
- Hands on experience in media data operations and a deep understanding of media technologies such as ad tech, martech, and media planning tools.
- Strong expertise in master data management (MDM) frameworks and data governance principles.
- Familiarity with platforms like Interact or similar enterprise data systems, with a focus on optimization and integration
Leadership and Strategic Planning:
- Proven ability to define organizational frameworks, governance standards, and operational guidelines.
- Strong strategic planning skills with a focus on building scalable, efficient, and compliant operations.
- Experience influencing and aligning cross-functional teams to achieve shared goals.
Media Industry Knowledge:
- Comprehensive understanding of media data structures, ecosystems, and technologies used in campaign management, analytics, and reporting.
- Familiarity with challenges unique to media data governance, including privacy, compliance, and quality assurance.
Operational and Soft Skills:
- Exceptional communication and collaboration skills to guide teams and align them with established frameworks and standards.
- Ability to provide thought leadership and act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on innovative, scalable, and sustainable solutions.
Education and Background:
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in media data, reporting, product or operations roles, preferably within the media, marketing, or technology sectors.

The salary range for this position is posted below. Where an employee or prospective employee is paid within this range will depend on, among other factors, actual ranges for current/former employees in the subject position, market considerations, budgetary considerations, tenure and standing with the Company (applicable to current employees), as well as the employee’s/applicant’s skill set, level of experience, and qualifications.
