Role Overview:The Data Operations Analyst is responsible for managing data integrity, troubleshooting data discrepancies, and ensuring accurate and timely reporting for key business partners. This role involves monitoring trends, identifying issues, managing escalations, and collaborating with engineering, product, and customer-facing teams. Role Overview:The Data Operations Analyst is responsible for managing data integrity, troubleshooting data discrepancies, and ensuring accurate and timely reporting for key business partners. This role involves monitoring trends, identifying issues, managing escalations, and collaborating with engineering, product, and customer-facing teams. The ideal candidate has a strong analytical mindset, experience with data processing tools, and a proactive approach to problem solving.
Key Responsibilities
- Data Management: Help others get the most out of data management systems by providing support and advice
- Insights and Reporting: Prepare and coordinate the completion of various data and analytics reports
- Data and Analytics Strategy: Make recommendations to improve data and analytics systems and platforms, contributing to the continuous improvement and refinement of data and analytics strategy
- Resolve Escalated Issues: Act as a technical reference and escalation point for a team, resolving operational and nonstandard issues and providing advice and guidance on process and procedure
- Data Collection and Analysis: Collate and analyze data using preset tools, methods, and formats; involves working independently

Qualifications
- 3 years to 6 years of experience in the following:
- Data Collection and Analysis: Analyzes trends from collected data to support decision-making; works independently and may provide technical guidance
- Action Planning: Evaluates requirements and develops action plans; typically operates independently and provides guidance to others
- Business Data Modeling: Collects, analyzes, and diagrams data flows to support strategic goals and problem-solving; works without supervision
- Document and Model User Requirements: Uses modeling tools to represent data, process changes, use cases, and user stories; works independently and offers guidance
- Perform Gap Analysis: Conducts gap analysis between current and future states to inform change strategy; typically works independently
- Business Requirements Analysis: Identifies and expresses user needs, evaluates capability gaps, and recommends solutions; works independently and provides guidance
- Understands Customer Needs: Translates customer needs into business context and language; articulates key performance indicators and objectives
- Analyze Current State/AS-IS State: Documents business processes and context, including organizational structure and capabilities; typically works independently
- Assessment: Integrates data from various sources to draw conclusions and make recommendations; operates without supervision
- Database Administration: Designs, implements, and maintains databases such as Microsoft SQL Server and Snowflake; works independently
- Database Reporting: Utilizes tools like AWS QuickSight, Tableau, and Power BI to create reports; works without supervision
- Information Retrieval and Searching: Uses systems and tools to retrieve or search for new and existing data; typically operates independently
- Data Control: Manages data acquisition, protection, and processing to meet business objectives; provides technical guidance when needed
- Numerical Skills: Applies mathematical operations to interpret reports and data; operates with full competence
- Review and Reporting: Prepares and reviews reports effectively for various audiences; typically works independently
- Statistical Techniques: Applies probability theory and statistical methods for analysis and conclusions; uses statistical software
- Data Analysis Techniques: Inspects, cleanses, transforms, and models data to inform decisions and draw insights
- Data Interpretation: Identifies trends and relationships in data to answer critical business questions; typically works independently
- Database Management Systems: Applies expertise in managing and using database systems with minimal supervision
