Machine Learning Engineer II, AGI Information, Amazon Knowledge Graph - Data Vending

The AGI Amazon Knowledge Graph team develops the services and data layers that comprise a large Graph Database, providing an LLM-optimized foundational component to the AGI tech stack. The Data Vending team is responsible for designing and developing the services and infrastructure that vend data from knowledge graphs with high throughput and low latency.

Key job responsibilities
As a Machine Learning Engineer on the AKG Data Vending team, you will be a core contributor to the services and infrastructure that power Amazon’s LLM experiences. You will own the design and development of new ML features and help to improve retrieval and ranking from our data indexes

Basic Qualifications

- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language
- Experience with ML systems

Preferred Qualifications

- 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
- Experience with Graph Databases like Amazon Neptune, Neo4J, etc.
- Experience with ML systems, Model compilation, Triton, TensorRT, LLM inference optimisation

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $129,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $223,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
