Data Analyst & IT Support Specialist at RMD Group

Position Summary: This hybrid role supports the organization in two key areas:

• Data Analysis – extracting and synthesizing data from POS and business systems to generate operational insights and weekly/ad hoc reports. 
• IT Support – providing frontline IT assistance across our Windows-based environment, supporting network connectivity, hardware/software functionality, and onboarding/offboarding users across Office365 and other systems. 

Type: Hourly - Full timePay scale: $30.00-$35.00/hr  Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to: 

• Data & Reporting 
• Build, maintain, and distribute weekly and ad hoc reports from systems including Toast POS, Office365, and internal databases. 
• Analyze operational and sales data to identify trends and support decision-making. 
• Support cross-departmental reporting needs (Accounting, Events, Operations, Marketing, etc.). 
• Maintain dashboards and assist in automation of repetitive reporting tasks where feasible. 

 

• IT Support & Systems Maintenance 
• Serve as the first point of contact for basic IT troubleshooting across all departments. 
• Provide hands-on support for issues related to PCs, printers, hardware peripherals, and user access. 
• Diagnose and resolve connectivity issues, primarily within Ubiquiti network systems. 
• Support Toast POS maintenance, configurations, and incident response. 
• Manage Office365 user administration: account creation, license assignments, and access controls. 
• Support onboarding/offboarding workflows for new hires and terminations. 
• Maintain hardware/software inventory and assist with procurement as needed.

  Education:  

• High School Degree or equivalent required  

 Required Qualifications:  

• 2+ years of experience in a data analyst or IT support role (hospitality or multi-unit environment a plus) 
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office365 (SharePoint, Outlook, Teams, etc.) 
• Comfortable with PC hardware, Windows OS troubleshooting, and basic networking (especially Ubiquiti/UniFi environments) 
• Ability to translate data into clear insights and communicate findings to both technical and non-technical audiences 
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail  

 Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in hospitality, retail, or restaurant groups
• Experience with Toast POS (back-end admin or reporting modules preferred) 
• Familiarity with Power BI, SQL, or other data visualization/reporting tools
• Understanding of SaaS tools like Tripleseat, Restaurant365, Hubspot
• Scripting or automation knowledge (e.g., Power Automate or Zapier) a plus

  Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations:  

• Annual expectations will be set for ongoing learning and may include acquiring certifications, licenses and/or registrations that are applicable to the responsibilities of this position.Physical Requirements:  
  • Must be able to sit, stand or walk for up to 8 hours at a time.  
  • Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds safely and properly.  
  • Must be able to bend, stoop and climb.  
  • Must be able to push and pull.
