Your Impact in This Role:

 

We are seeking a Sr. Power Platform Developer with deep hands-on experience in the Microsoft Power Platform - Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Power Pages - and a strong understanding of Dataverse, API integrations, and security models. You will play a pivotal role in the design, development, and deployment of enterprise-grade low-code/no-code applications aligned with Fortune Brands Innovations’ digital strategy.

 

This role demands technical leadership, attention to detail, and an innovative mindset to deliver robust solutions across Sales, Marketing, Customer Service, and eCommerce functions.

 

Position location – Hybrid (onsite Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday) - Deerfield, IL.  

 

Your Path to Success:

  • Design and implement scalable Power Platform solutions (Power Pages, Canvas/Model-Driven Apps)
  • Build and manage Dataverse tables, business rules, and data relationships
  • Develop Power Automate flows (cloud/desktop) for business automation
  • Create custom connectors and integrate external APIs using Boomi
  • Manage ALM processes using GitHub/Azure DevOps and Power Platform pipelines
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions
  • Follow secure development practices, adhering to compliance and governance standards
  • Provide Level 3 support and proactively address production issues
  • Mentor junior developers and help foster a Center of Excellence culture

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field
  • 5+ years of hands-on development experience with Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI)
  • 4+ years of experience with Power Pages development and customization
  • 4+ years of proficiency in Dataverse, data modeling, and relational database principles
  • Deep understanding of Power Platform connectors, custom APIs, and Azure API Management
  • Knowledge of security roles, environment strategies, and data policies in Power Platform
  • Familiarity with CI/CD for Power Platform using Azure DevOps
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 ecosystem, especially SharePoint and Teams integration
  • Basic knowledge of .NET, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS is a plus
  • Agile delivery experience (Scrum/Kanban)
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Developer Associate (PL-400) or Power Platform Solution Architect Expert
  • Experience working with enterprise CRM (Dynamics 365) is a plus
  • Familiarity with governance and DLP policies in Power Platform

Fortune Brands believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is Hiring Pay Range: $60,000 USD - $99,000 USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location. In addition to base salary, employees will participate in either an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based sales incentive plan.
