Healthcare Analytics Engineer

Job Overview:

The Healthcare Analytics Engineer is responsible for building and maintaining scalable data pipelines to support Medicare Advantage, Traditional Medicare ACO, and value-based care analytics. Success means delivering accurate, timely healthcare data into our warehouse to enable high-impact insights. This role is essential to supporting growth, ensuring data consistency across markets, and improving operational efficiency. It sits at the intersection of technical and business teams, driving smarter, data-informed decisions and reporting.

Responsibilities and Duties Include:

• Build automated ingestion process to transfer files from SFTPs and online portals into data warehouse
• Transform and onboard new Medicare Advantage and traditional Medicare ACO payor data into the EDW accurately and efficiently.
• Assist in rebuild of current ingestion process to better scale with new state growth and consistency across payors
• Continuous maintenance of existing payors (validating files / ingestions / quality checks)
• Collaborate with IT to improve ingestion processes, bridging the business-technical gap.
• Creation of new consolidated tables utilizing the files provided by the payors (lab results, capitation details, service fund models, etc)
• Lead development of semantic layers on EDW tables to improve speed, depth, and efficiency of analytics and reporting.
• Transform and Digest BCDA files for pre-adjudicated ACO Reach claims
• Other duties as required

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 year's experience working with healthcare claims data, ideally in a value-based model
• Deep Understanding and experience with Health Insurance Claims data, particularly in Medicare Advantage and traditional Medicare ACOs
• Experience in value-based care setting and with files such as MMR, service funds, MAO-004, etc
• Strong skills in SQL (snowflake) and Python
• Bachelor's Degree required
