As a Business Analyst, you will work closely with the finance, operations, and strategy teams to understand data needs, develop insightful dashboards and reports, and support key decision-making processes. Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

  • Gather, analyze, and interpret large datasets to provide actionable insights for financial and operational decisions.
  • Design, develop, and maintain dynamic dashboards and visualizations using Power BI.
  • Collaborate with finance teams to support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis using data-driven approaches.
  • Translate business needs into technical requirements and ensure successful delivery of data solutions.
  • Identify trends, opportunities, and areas of improvement by conducting root cause analysis on financial performance and business processes.
  • Create regular and ad-hoc reports that support business reviews and financial planning.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to ensure data integrity, accuracy, and consistency across systems.
  • Assist in developing KPIs and performance tracking metrics across different business units.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Data Science, or a related field.
  • 1–2 years of relevant experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar data/finance-related role.
  • Proficiency in Power BI, including data modeling, DAX, report creation, and dashboard optimization.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Solid understanding of financial concepts including P&L, balance sheets, cash flow, and key financial ratios.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present insights to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience working with Excel, SQL, or other data tools is a plus.

Nice to Have:

  • Exposure to financial systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks).
  • Knowledge of Python or R for data analysis.
  • Experience in a startup or fast-paced environment.
