In this position... 

The Data Analytics Developer is responsible for developing and maintaining reporting and other data-driven insights to inform and guide operations within Ford's Technician Support Operations organization.

The Data Analytics Developer works with Ford's Technical Field team, Technician Development team, and Technical Hotline team to provide clarity into daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly operational performance. Work includes metrics development for new initiatives, objective setting for teams, progress tracking, and others. Data outputs will include point in time data sets, scheduled reporting, deep-dives, and others; while largely focused on North America, many projects will include other global markets as well. Additional work will include issue identification to support business performance improvement.

What you'll do...

  • Identify opportunities to improve the business through data analytics and key insights. Find, connect, process, and organize key data elements from a variety of sources to create meaningful outputs for business leaders
  • Lead the development and deployment of data products (data sets, dashboards, etc.) as required per the needs of the organization
  • Scale work from MVP/lean delivery to fully automated workflows and reporting elements that are self-sustaining
  • Maintain data and reporting integrity
  • Build with global view in min
  • Provide training and support for data/reporting users

You'll have... 

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 5+ years of experience leveraging data to support reporting, analytics, or other insights

Even better, you may have...

  • Have a working knowledge of either Ford dealership operations or Ford's internal workstreams pertaining to Dealership operations
  • Prefer experience with analytical programs, data storage such as QlikSense, Alteryx, GCP, SQL
  • Strong teamwork and collaborative behaviors
  • Analytical skills with attention to detail 
  • Process-oriented mindset with an eye for potential efficiencies

This position is a range of salary grades 6-8.
