Under the direction of the Manager, this position applies extensive knowledge of industry practices and standards to assist in the development of strategic business strategies to improve the overall effectiveness of the Division. This position supports the Division strategic plan by conducting data analysis to support division strategy, including identifying and evaluating opportunities and tactics to achieve strategic goals.
- Researches, analyzes, develops, and recommends division strategies, business plans and practices, performance, organizational structure, and a multitude of other elements in collaboration with the Manager. Produces preliminary-findings reports by consolidating and analyzing data. Consults with senior and executive management on immediate and long-term opportunities for improvement, recommends the overall direction and the framework to fulfill those requirements. Produces presentations based on findings for Executive Management and other internal and external audiences.
- Consults with Division Management on critical change initiatives. Communicates, influences and negotiates both vertically and horizontally to obtain or leverage necessary resources. Develops and ensures all performance standards including but not limited to strategic, financial, operational are met while maintaining high customer service satisfaction levels. Assists Division Management with the development and management of the cost centers forecasts and budgets.
- Supports employee relationship building activities of the division to maximize opportunities to deliver an excellent employee experience. Responsible for assuring effective sales and service tracking systems are in place. Leads and manages company-wide initiatives for process improvement.
- Responsible for results delivery, process management and strategy development. Works with business leaders on effective alignment of programs and projects to division and bank strategy.
- Performs all other miscellaneous responsibilities and duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum 3 years related work experience (analyst or managerial operations function with responsibilities focused on technical aspects e.g., management reporting and analysis, workforce reporting, dashboard and control metric reporting, as well as experience doing analysis on specific workflow processes and business trends.
- Demonstrated proficiency and expertise with personal computers and Microsoft applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint) or similar software. Knowledge of or ability to use Bank software and systems.
- Demonstrated written and verbal communication and presentation skills to all levels of management. Possess strong analytical, organizational and problem solving skills to identify opportunities and risks and make recommendations. Proficient in presentation development, report generation and spreadsheet / database design and management. Strong business sense and ability to align change management process to business needs in complex environment. Must demonstrate strong project management and implementation skills. Proactive, curious, self-starter who requires minimal supervision with the ability to lead team members, build strong relationships, and work across multiple departments and divisions. Demonstrated drive to learn, research, and resolve issues independently or with others. Able to work flexible hours including holidays, weekends and evenings as necessary.
