Role purpose:

The Insights and Data Manager delivers actionable insights for Global Credit to Collections (CTC GPO) business decisions, driving efficiency, standardisation, process improvement, and transformation. Collaborating with cross-functional teams in VOIS, Group, and Local Markets, including Customer Operations, Finance, Commercial, and IT, they develop and implement data analysis strategies to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities.
The Insights and Data Manager will be working with the Global Process Lead (GPL) to build and drive the strategic vision of CTC. They will be responsible to identify process improvements ideas using the data and insights and should be able to transform the data and insights into actionable items. 
They will create and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualisations to communicate insights effectively for consumption of GPO and other Senior Leadership, ensuring data integrity, accuracy, and consistency across all data sources.  
Operational Support:
Providing business insights, daily, weekly, monthly and adhoc reports for CTC to drive operational efficiency, Analyse financial data to identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and trends. Ensuring all KPI’s are reported on time and relevant root cause analysis are delivered with agreed remediation plans. Facilitate the automation of all the reports and root cause analysis to reduce non-value add activities. 
Strategic support: 
The Insights and Data Manager should provide relevant data to support the Global Process Owner (GPO) and Global Process Lead (GPL) to identify process improvement ideas and achieve cost to serve and working capital improvement targets along with the CTC GPO team. In addition, tracking and reporting of benefits delivered through implementation of the improvements. 
Standardised, centrally reported data is a GPO goal, fostering a culture of data-driven decision-making within CTC. Working with the local markets and Shared Service SPOCS to identify reports for standardisation and automation is important to achieve this.
Qualifications for this role include proven experience in data analysis, data visualisation, and business intelligence, transformation of data into actionable items, strong proficiency in data analysis tools, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, strong communication and presentation skills. and the ability to foster a culture of data-driven decision-making and proactive and continuous improvement.

What you will do


•    Reporting of daily, weekly, monthly and adhoc reports and KPI Dashboards. 
•    Support and Identify data driven improvement and automation opportunities.  
•    Work with technology teams to develop data mining and predictive analytics model for CTC.
•    Analyse financial data to identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and trends
•    Flag process deviations using data mining and create suitable remediation plans. 
•    Support the GPL to implement and operate risk and problem management, change management, and interdependencies using the data insights
•    Develop a plan for automated, standardised and centralised reporting. 
•    Produce programme-wide progress reports and supporting information to track benefits of initiatives delivered.
•    Ensure alignment of data insights initiatives with overall business objectives 
•    Analyse data insights to develop efficient solutions and support the Transformation Manager and GPL respectively for improvement projects to optimise processes.  
•    Keep current with data analysis and visualisation trends and best practices
•    Assess budget requirements of the initiatives planned, as a part of the GPO roadmap, help define business cases and deliver business benefits. 

 


What sets you apart

 

•    Proficiency in extracting insights from large and complex data sets. 
•    Knowledge of artificial intelligence, machine learning and other data mining tools to leverage these technologies for data analysis.
•    Excellent working knowledge of reporting methodologies and techniques- knowledge on SAC will be an advantage. 
•    Ability to structure and deliver in complex and volatile environments.
•    Ability to create clear and compelling visualisations to communicate data-driven insights.
•    Knowledge of Finance operation and E2E operating processes. 
•    Ability to work in fast-paced, matrixed environments with multiple priorities
•    Very strong cooperation, coordination, communication and presentation skills. 
•    Proven ability and experience in dealing with and influencing multiple stakeholders on senior level. 
•    Strong proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools
•    Knowledge of CTC 
•    7+ years’ experience of data and insights 
•    Proven expertise in extracting insights from large and complex data sets using advanced analytical methods and tools.
•    Experience in telecommunications industry
•    Deep knowledge and understanding of operational finance processes, finance operating models 
•    Analytical-minded, innovative, adaptable, team player and leader
•    Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
•    Excellent communication and presentation skills
