The role

As a Backend & Data Engineer at Legora, you'll support the legal sources team by building integrations to data providers, writing custom scrapers, backfilling and running continuous data syncs. You’ll monitor the freshness and health of our data pipelines and ensure all legal data is up to date and high quality.

What you will be doing:

• Build custom scrapers
  
• Build API integrations
  
• Run large data syncs, backfills
  
• Monitor data quality, freshness and health and react if something goes wrong
  
• Build observability tools and alerting
  

Who you are

• You have extensive experience in backend engineering in Python
  
• Experience working in Azure, AWS, or GCP
  
• Bonus if you’ve worked with infrastructure as code tools like Pulumi, AWS CDK, Terraform
  
• Experience with data orchestration tools like Dagster, Airflow etc
  
• But most importantly, you are someone who
  • “Gets stuff done” and understands building a $10bn company isn’t always glamorous and takes hard work and long hours
    
  • Proactively and independently solves the most burning problems
    
  • Strives in a fast-paced environment where the answers aren’t always clear and processes are few
