ABOUT THE ROLE

The Sales and Marketing Operations Data Specialist is responsible for maintaining data integrity across multiple platforms and supporting the sales team with data-related needs. This position plays a key role in ensuring accurate, accessible, and actionable data that drives informed decision-making and supports sales and marketing initiatives. The Sales and Marketing Operations Data Specialist will bring strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and a collaborative mindset, and will work closely with cross-functional teams including Sales, Marketing, and IT to ensure seamless data operations and successful project execution. 

This is a full-time, temporary position with the possibility to convert to a full-time, permanent position.

 

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Performs data categorization and cleanup based on recurring exception reports.  
  • Maintains accuracy of healthcare industry accounts and account hierarchy information in conjunction with data supplied by Definitive Healthcare.  Monitoring additions, deletions, and edits to the database  
  • HubSpot Contact Cleanup: Sync HubSpot contacts with Salesforce by matching and deleting records as necessary.  
  • User Level Data Requests: Convert sales rep and account management rep data from offline to online formats in Salesforce, including: Updating Salesforce with changes from LinkedIn, Beckers, Google Alerts, etc.  
  • Supports marketing contact list generation including: provider and provider group data, tradeshows, webinar audiences, etc.  
  • Supports Salesforce development by engaging in requirements gathering, user acceptance testing (UAT), documentation, and training.  
  • Performs other duties as needed 

 

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

  • Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in data maintenance, sales operations, or a related field, with a demonstrated ability to manage and maintain large datasets accurately. 
  • CRM Proficiency: Proficient in using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software such as Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar platforms. 
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on identifying data inconsistencies and optimizing data workflows. 
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders. 
  • Multitasking & Time Management: Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high attention to detail. 
  • Organizational Skills: Exceptional organizational skills with a methodical approach to data entry, reporting, and documentation. 
  • Data Verification Tools: Experience with tools such as Neverbounce or similar platforms for validating and cleaning contact data. (preferred) 
  • Healthcare Data: Familiarity with healthcare data sources such as Definitive Healthcare or other industry-specific databases. (preferred) 
  • Digital Marketing Knowledge: Understanding of digital marketing strategies and tactics, including how data supports campaign targeting and performance tracking. 
  • Data Visualization: Exposure to tools like Tableau or Power BI for creating dashboards and visual reports. (preferred) 

 

POSITION LOGISTICS

  • 100% remote position
  • Temp-to-permanent position
  • Required to have a private office space in home or elsewhere for confidentiality
  • Reports to the Director, Sales & Marketing Operations

 

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

  • The pay range for this role is $21.50 - $23.50 an hour. This information reflects the anticipated salary range for this position using current market data. The final offer will be determined based on an individual's skills, years of experience, education, capacity, licenses, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
