Work you’ll do

 

Deloitte’s Financial Services industry group strives to support clients in addressing the challenges that impact today’s industry. Our member firm’s global network engages with clients to refine their business and operating models through innovative practices, improved processes and enabling advanced technologies.

 

You will work alongside our clients to help them make decisions and implement solutions based on "Heart of the Business" issues and problem statements from architecting the strategic transformation agenda through driving business value leveraging AI and data solutions. 

 

You will be part of Artificial Intelligence & Data (AI&D) Service Offering, aligned with Financial Service, for Banking (Retail, SME, Wholesale, and Wealth) or Insurance (Life & General Insurance) and drive the latest and best-in-class transformation narrative for our Financial Services (FS) sector clients across Southeast Asia.

 

As a Manager / Senior Consultant, you will be responsible for bridging the gap between business and technical teams and will be involved in business development and end-to-end delivery of large-scale, AI and data-driven transformation programs within the Financial Services industry, with a strong focus on business solutions and applied intelligence leveraging AI, Generative AI, and intelligent automation.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Understand client’s business strategy, identify client’s business requirements / needs, and any opportunities to deliver business outcomes leveraging AI/ML, Generative AI, and automation solutions.
  • Work closely with business leaders and technical teams to understand business challenges, define use cases, and translate them into AI/Gen AI-driven solutions that meet business needs.
  • Map client’s business processes across retail. Wealth, SME and corporate banking, identify opportunities for embedding AI agents to improve effectiveness and efficiencies.
  • Implement AI/ML and Generative AI solutions within business processes and customer journeys, collaborating with business stakeholders, data science, and engineering teams to ensure outcomes are delivered.
  • Deliver complex AI & data projects, managing client stakeholders and project teams.
  • Design the business architecture for agent-based systems using AI frameworks, collaborating with the data science team to ensure alignment with long term business objectives.
  • Support the integration of AI/Gen AI solutions into existing systems and workflows, ensuring smooth adoption and seamless end-to-end experiences for business users
  • Work with business stakeholders to define KPIs and success metrics for AI/Gen AI projects, ensuring continuous monitoring and optimization to maximize ROI.
  • Develop comprehensive pitch proposals by creating detailed storyboards, curating content, and conducting in-depth data analysis to support the narrative. This includes opportunity sizing to assess market potential, and ensuring the proposal aligns with the client’s needs and strategic goals.
  • Manage project delivery economics, quality assurance, and client satisfaction.
  • Coach junior team members to align with the overall project objectives and goals.

Requirements

 

We’re looking for professionals with the following background:

  • 8+ years of experience with bachelor’s or master’s degree in business, management or engineering or related field.
  • Strong knowledge of AI/Gen AI technologies and AI risk governance, with experience in tools and frameworks such as machine learning, natural language processing (NLP), and Agentic AI (multi-agent systems, autonomous systems, goal-driven planning).
  • Ability to translate complex business problems into analytics use cases and complex technical solutions into clear business recommendations.
  • Strong understanding of banking business processes and the ability to align AI solutions with organizational objectives.
  • Proven ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and work across diverse teams.
  • Strong problem solving and analytical mindset with the ability to address business challenges and offer innovative solutions using AI/Gen AI.
  • Experience in managing AI-driven projects, with a focus on collaboration, coordination, and delivery within set timelines.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP and AI/Data products like Databricks, Snowflake, Cloudera for deploying AI/Gen AI solutions.
  • Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills, with a passion for working in cross-functional team
  • Willingness to travel based on client and project requirements.
