About this role 
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Data Analyst to join our dynamic Global Logistics Analytics team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This is an excellent opportunity to make a significant impact by developing insightful and user-friendly Tableau dashboards and by diving deep into our logistics operations to identify opportunities for enhancing customer experience. You will work closely with stakeholders across the business to provide data-driven insights that drive key decisions and improvements. This role is ideal for a proactive individual with strong analytical abilities, a passion for data visualization, and a desire to contribute to a global logistics organization.


Location: Hybrid- 3 days a week from our Toronto office & 2 days working from home
Reporting to: Senior Team Leader 


These are some of the key ingredients to the role:

  • Design and develop engaging, high-quality Tableau dashboards for visualizing key logistics KPIs and trends for diverse stakeholders.
  • Elicit and analyze stakeholder needs to create relevant and actionable dashboards that address business requirements.
  • Manage the ETL process, including extracting, cleaning, transforming, and loading data from various sources for dashboards and analysis.
  • Perform thorough analysis of logistics data (e.g., orders, delivery, feedback) to pinpoint trends, anomalies, and areas for customer experience enhancement.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams (operations, customer service, product) to grasp business challenges and convert them into analytical inquiries.
  • Present clear and concise analytical insights and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Contribute to data documentation and establish best practices for dashboard creation and data analysis.

What will you bring to the table? 

  • 2-4 years of data analyst experience, preferably in logistics, supply chain, or e-commerce.
  • Extensive hands-on experience developing dashboards in Tableau, demonstrating strong data visualization skills.
  • Proficient in SQL for data querying and manipulation; experience with cloud data warehouses is a plus.
  • Proven ability to analyze complex data and derive actionable insights, coupled with a strong understanding of data analysis principles.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, a curious approach to investigating issues, and the capacity to propose solutions.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, capable of explaining technical concepts clearly to diverse audiences.
  • Proficient in data manipulation using Excel or Google Sheets, and familiar with collaboration tools like GSuite, Atlassian, Git, and Slack.
