We're looking for a future Data Engineer to work in Cytiva Data & Analytics team - central point of AI, Data Science  and traditional data processing/visualization in our company.

What You'll Do  

• Perform data analysis in development projects and trouble-shooting activities.

• Develop analytical solutions for our business users in Finance, Supply Chain, R&D etc.

• Fix production issues and support business users/citizen developers.

• Work on modern data stack of Snowflake, QlikSense and PowerBI and bespoke AI/DataScience platforms.

• Support discovery of new therapies, cooperating with our Scientists.

Who you are 

• Student of 3rd or 4th Year in STEM field.

• Aspiring developer with some small project in SQL, Python, R or any BI Tool under your belt.

• Excel apprentice commanding VLOOKUP and Pivot tables.

• SQL tinkerer leveraging analytical and window functions.

• Communicative English speaker and writer.

To be successful in the role we believe that you are a structured and organized team player. You are a creative problem solver, who has a burning passion for data and gaining actionable results from complex data streams. 

It would be a plus if you also have:

• Experience with Qliksense or PowerBI

• Experience writing in Python and using pandas or similar libraries

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS and/or Azure) and their data services.

• Understanding limitations of LLMs and that chatbots are not whole landscape of AI

• Ability to provide at least three definitions/explanations of what is snowflake

• Knowledge of version control/Git.
